Custom Selection for Compendium Sharing?

Hi,  I own both the Player's Handbook and Shadow of the Dragon Queen for DnD 5E and I am about to GM a new campaign using both. I would like to give my players (who do not own these manuals) the options to select the PHB and SOTDQ races/classes/feats when creating and levelling up their characters and I understand that the only way for me to do this would be to use compendium sharing. However, I see that when I do that and a player accesses the compendium they will be able to see all of the monsters and characters of SOTDQ, which I would like to avoid. I have been looking to find a way to prevent that, like limiting access to players to only certain entries in the compendium, but it doesn't seem this is possible, right? I cannot just disable SOTDQ from my compendium sharing selection as that will disable it for me as well. Please let me know if you know of a way around this? Regards, Federico

Hi Federico! I see two options: 1) You could enable the sharing function during character creation and levelup, but turn it off otherwise. (I mean the sharing function, not which sources are available) 2) You could ask your players not to look at the monsters and characters from the module. The hard truth is that if they are set on doing this, it is trivial for them to find such information online or even by purchasing a hard copy, no matter what you do.
im in a similar boat I want to purchase kobold press tome of hero's for roll 20 however I don't want my players to have access to everything like the drow or kobold since they already exist and some sub classes are similar or close to existing ones
