Free-Drawing Tokens

It would be killer to be able to just draw something freehand AS a token. The time it takes to procure tokens is a bit of a drag, especially for random encounters. Being able to just draw numbers, freehand, would be awesome. In general, I'm not a fan of lifelike tokens or detailed artistry. Rough lines, numbers, etc., are more my style. I find that preserves the imagination quality of pen and paper gaming, and avoids the tendency for this tool to feel like a slow video game.
Not sure if it can be done directly inside Roll20, but you can do it easily beforehand without much work: <a href="http://toybox-sw.blogspot.be/2012/05/maptool-sketches.html" rel="nofollow">http://toybox-sw.blogspot.be/2012/05/maptool-sketches.html</a>
Patrick Crusiau, I love the style of these hand drawn tokens and maps. And I'd like to second Peter Vinogradov's suggestion, because many times we need to add tokens of whatever on the fly. The quicker the better for a case like this, so being able to draw them in Roll20 (*) would be awesome. Speaking of this, pressure sensitivity for the drawing tool would be very welcomed for natural sketching results. (*) I can imagine that we will want to be able to save (as graphic files) some of our freehand drawn tokens as well . . . for storing and reutilization.
I would certainly have a use for it (particularly because I have a Cintiq plugged in my computer), but it is a function I have never seen on any VTT, so, I am a little dubious if it is possible at all.
Nowadays nearly any affordable drawing tablet in the market (about $30) has about 1024 levels of pressure. Years ago the minimum was 512. It is indeed possible: the VTT Fantasy Grounds --since version 1-- acknowledges pen pressure sentitivity, expressly for achieving the hand drawing feel & result of "Pen and Pencil roleplaying".
Here is a quick sample/sketch of free-hand drawing with pen pressure sensitivity inside the aforementioned VTT:
It looks like those pictures from Fantasy Grounds are raster based, whereas Roll20 is currently vector based (see here for some older discussion on the topic). I believe that thread really gets at the heart of the matter. Now, that's a separate matter from whether line drawings, in their current form, can be turned into tokens. I'll add that suggestion to the devs' list.
Balladeer, Yes, you are right concerning that thread. Fantasy Grounds uses raster graphics for freehand drawing, and vector graphics for pointers like straight lines, squares, circles, cones for areas of effect and similar things. For one, I'm fine with either approach (raster or vector), but in any case I'd comment about this in that other thread. What it matters here is, I think, that is great to hear that you will consider a "tokenize" option for Roll20 drawings.
Yes, I was not doubting the possibility to draw in a VTT, not even to have pressure sensitivity, but the possibility to turn a drawing into a token.
Oh, I understand. An option for turning drawings into tokens would be new to me as well.
