LFP - [D&D5e] New/Intermediate Players for a Lovecraftian Pirate Adventure on the High Seas (weekly weekday evening sessions Pacific time)

The Pitch I've been DMing for a group of friends for about 18 months. For the last year we have been playing (and are about half way through) a campaign written by JVC Parry called Call from the Deep . It's a sprawling campaign that ranges up and down the Sword Coast, across the Sea of Swords, and deep into the depths of the Trackless Sea. Otherworldly ships, awakened monsters of the deep, and the mysterious puzzle of who is behind a string of pirate attacks along the Sword Coast. I've really enjoyed the story and would like to start into it again now that I have more experience with both the game mechanics and with the module itself. I am looking for four to five players of beginner or intermediate experience who would like to play a challenging and lengthy campaign that will take your characters from 1st to 12th with a relatively new dungeon master. About me I live on the west coast of Canada (Pacific time zone). I am an editor, academic historian, and general dabbler in nerd culture and its ephemera. Cishet male and in my 40s. I run an inclusive and friendly table and make use of safe play mechanics like lines and veils. Hard lines for me, for example, are sexual violence and explicit violence towards children or domestic animals. There is plenty of horror and violence in the proposed campaign, but expect to encounter it in a PG-13 kind of setting rather than a dark and gritty R. I'm no voice actor. I do my best to give characters voices but consistency isn't my strong suit. My preference is for voice/theatre of the mind with the limited use of maps and handouts. About you I am looking for players who are keen on the kind of play I described who would like to try for weekly Tuesday or Wednesday evening (Pacific time) sessions of two to three hours. My preference is to have a table of players with similar levels of experience with the game. The module includes a decent opening sequence that will help new players learn the basic mechanics of combat and roleplay. If that suits you, reply here or shoot me a message. I'd like to try and organize for a session zero for sometime in the next week or two.
Not sure if you’re still looking but the premise of this campaign sounds pretty amazing.  I am 33 and relatively new but have done a campaign and multiple one shots.  If your still looking let me know. Discord:  Uncleb14#9325
Good Day! May I ask what time your sessions are? I can bring 2 extra people who are new to the game. If you want to discuss things further we can continue talking in Discord. Discord: ZapBG2#9628
Very interested in joining your campaign I'm also in pacific time.  Looking for those Tuesday or Wednesday evening games.  New to 5e but long time dnd player and gm. Its been way too long since I've been an actual player. I'd really like to join and I'm willing to play whatever compliments the group the most.  I work till 5pm but after that on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday I'm so down and free to play till late late if allows lol. Hi all, I've just started in with a group on this campaign. I might have capacity to consider a second table but I need some time to think about that. Nice to see your interest.
Sounds good, thanks for getting back so quickly
lampfood#1925 I would love to join if you start a second table
Hi there! I wanted to leave my information in case you do decide to open a second table. That sounds like a great campaign -- I can see why you chose it, and I can tell you're treating your DMing with care and dedication. I have about six years of 5e experience, and my time with years-long campaigns has been much more rewarding than one-shots or Adventurers League. I'm an elementary school teacher in California, on the same time zone as you, and although I love thrilling, spooky situations, I really appreciate the approach you're taking to making sure the game is safe for everyone.  I hope your campaign is going well, and I do hope you'll keep me in mind if you decide to open a second table. Please feel free to reach out here or on Discord: Percivilis#4759
