Assets won’t load For DM side

Hi. I’m trying to load in my game. But all I see is a plain dark background and my tokens won’t load. There is no grid as well. but my players can enter and see the tokens and background. is there some issue I’m not sure I’m running into?

Hi KittyKat - Kirby, Is this happening in one game or multiple games for you?  Which browser are you using? Have you tried incognito or privacy mode to see if it resolves?

I'm trying out Firefox, Opera, and Chrome. So far it's happening to every game room I'm either DMing or joined as a player. I tried a private browser window/incognito mode. Same thing. One of my other players also says it's also happening to him whenever he joins a room.

At this point I suggest filing a bug report with the Devs via the Help Center as the forums are primarily users helping users.  With that said, I think you might be having the same issue as a few other folks are having tonight. Could you give this thread a read and see if it describes your issue?

Hey KittyKat, You might have already heard from support, but just in case you haven't or for others that might happen upon this in the future. We have implemented a temporary fix for this issue. You can go to your My Account page and check the setting called "Use Experimental Image Service". This setting will let you use this service to bypass the problematic URLs for now on the VTT while playing the game. We are still working on a longer term fix for the rest of the site and all the other users so we don't need this setting in the future. Thanks again for reporting this and let me know if you have any more problems or questions.
