Apply Default settings not changing "Auto Damage Roll" to my campaign setting

I followed the straight forward instructions for my game setting below. Go to the Campaign Settings Page Choose "Don't Auto Roll Damage " under " AUTO DAMAGE ROLL " in the Default Sheet Settings Save Load your game Go to the settings tab on the right and scroll to the bottom where you will find a button that says Apply Default Settings. Press it. Choose to update the Whisper settings. Wait a minute or two for it to resolve. There is a thin easy-to-miss progress bar.  I check some random monster sheet to see if the change worked. And it did! I close out the game. Later that same day in session, all my monsters are auto rolling damage. I check the sheets of monsters I checked while doing prep. They've all reverted on sheets. Game setting is correct though. This is driving me up the wall. I've tried changing other settings such as "ROLL QUERIES" and "WHISPER ROLLS TO GM" to different settings with the above instructions. I do the same and check sheets for change, close out game. Start it back up later and the roll or whisper settings change. The damage roll setting reverts to auto on the character sheets.  Am I missing something here?

There are definitely some bugs going on with applying things. I have just tested and found that when I set everything up NPCs looked like they were set, but a quick check showed they were not. They still rolled damage.  What appears to be happening is that the Auto Damage setting is being changed, but it isn't being reflected on the back end of the character.  A solution to this is to flip it manually and then back, that appears to correct the problem.  I also determined this bug does not affect creatures pulled from the compendium after Apply Default Settings is used. Only NPCs in the Journal appear to be affected. If you are seeing different behavior than the above please let me know so I can investigate further.  I will add this to another bug report regarding states not saving correctly. I suggest you also file a bug report with the Devs via the Help Center .

Sorry about that, here you go:  1) Open NPC 2) Hover over the NPC statblock area, a cog icon appears near the top right corner (to the top right of the attacks). Click on it.  3) Scroll down to Auto Damage Roll.  4) Flip Auto Damage Roll's setting to Auto Damage Roll & Crit, then back to Don't Roll Auto Damage.  5) Click the cog from step 2 to close the settings.  Of course, if you have many NPCs with this problem it make take some time, at least until the Devs find a resolution.
