Noticed that if I enable the "share Compendium" option for a game (game settings --> compendium settings), and then set some of my green-listed compendiums to not available (i.e. red-listed ) because I do not want players to have them searchable, me as GM too am not able to use/see them in-game. So currently there's no option for the GM to have in-game access to red-listed, or have the players access only to a subset of the green-Listed compendiums. ************************* UPDATE ********************** Potential solution: Game Master & players promoted to Co-GM only should keep in-game access to a new flag: Blue-Listed compendiums . Have SRD component selectable like the other owned compendiums ... and bumping up this feature to the next level: making the categories selectable too for red, blue and green check marks, by altering the compendium entry as expandable to display all the categories contained in it. By default the compendium's flag is inherited to the categories, but changeable by the owner. Usage Example for a 5e Game: accessible for all (green-listed): Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide Xanathar's Guide to Everything Category RollTable ( Blue listed - i.e. accessible by GM only ) Magic Items ( Blue listed - i.e. accessible by GM only ) Player's Handbook Accessible only by Game Masters (Blue-Listed): Dungeon Master's Guide Storm King's Thunder Tales from the Yawning Portal Princes of the Apocalypse Essentials Kit Removed from in-game access (Red-Listed): Baldur's Gate - Descent Into Avernus Lost Mine of Phandelver Eberron - Rising from the Last War SRD The intent is to remove redundant entries, keep searchable compendiums focused on the campaign, keep curious players from being distracted.
