GM should be able to share content with players

So I bought some additional content to add excitement to our campaign. Recently a dragon actually breathed fire and the party loved it! Why can't my wizard player use some of what I purchase to fire his magic missiles, or to see an eldritch blast?!? I wish there was a way for them to use this content to give them the ability to demonstrate what they are trying to accomplish instead of drawing a circle or a line on the screen...

These are animated tokens?  I usually set up "Characters" to represent spell effects which the token set as the pre-scaled image in question (say, 20ft diameter fireball).  I then make the "characters" controllable by "all players", and put them in their journal in a Spell Effects folder.  That lets the players drag out the token and drop it where it should go. Would that solve your problem?
Thank you! That is working except I am having an issue getting the size to drop correctly. I dragged the spell effect into the token top box. Then when I drag the character spell onto the tabletop it is small scale. So then I corrected the size and set as token in the lower box but even then it comes out half the size. So strange, but so far this method is effective!

Hi Zipper! When you are setting up your default tokens, make sure you are setting them up on a page where the grid cell size is set to 1. What you are describing sounds like what happens when the scale is set to a different size, typically 0.5. If you set up on a page with a scale of 1, the tokens should size correctly when dropped on pages with any scale.
