Several questions

1) Im sort of working on making character sheets, but there doesnt seem to be a way to import from Mythweavers for instance. Im still not sure if I will be using Roll20, so I told them to use MW instead. I can get away with just making a sheet to tie to the markers but it would be better if I could just onload the data 2) I have made a couple of sheets and moved markers onto the maps and they are HUGE.. One marker will fill a normal sized room. I tried shrinking the token by clicking on the border and can make it small, but the moment I leave it where i want it, it reverts to original size.  3) I am trying to use one of the free maps off the Roll20 site but its way too small, and doesnt fill the whole screen. Plus you cant work with it, it doesnt take any notes at all and will not erase so I now have two or three of these maps that are both on the screen. Delete or Edit buttons do nothing.

Hi MCatto! These difficulties seem like they stem from expectations versus actual behavior. Let's go through these. 1) There are very few import methods, generally requiring a Pro account and a very customized script. Roll20 uses different data structures for the sheets for each system. It might help if you let us know what sheet you are using, but in general, character sheet data is generated on Roll20 itself, not imported. I am not aware of any route from Mythweavers to Roll20. 2) When you say "it reverts to original size", do you mean the image spontaneously changes size on-screen, or that it is a different size next time you pull it out? Is this image attached to a character sheet and saved as a default token, or are you pulling it from your art library? There are different techniques for each. In general, a raw graphic pulled to the token layer comes in filling a single square, and when pulled into the map layer comes in at either full size, or by an amount specified in its metadata. I can go into more detail if you can describe what you are doing, step-by-step, what you expect to happen, and what is actually happening. Be sure to specify where you are dragging from and to which layer. 3) It sounds like you are dragging a map to a layer other than the map layer, and it is coming in at token size? Again, more detail will help here. Graphics on Roll20 are object-based: each map or token is a discrete and complete image. To delete it, make sure you are on the same layer as the graphic, use the select tool (arrow) to select it, and either use your backspace key to delete it, or right click and delete. It also sounds like a good overview of how Roll20 works might be helpful. Here is the welcome blurb I sometimes use: First off: Welcome to Roll20! The first shot is what it looks like when I bring in a map and the second one is when I add a token, at the token level

That map will need to be manually re-sized. It either lacks metadata or lacks the resolution to be displayed automatically at the desired size. What are the pixel dimensions of the original, and the number of units (squares) it is intended to cover?

Roll20 doesn't do everything for you, you have to resize maps and such yourself! Resizing images is one of the basic skills you need to learn to use the platform. If you don't feel like dragging it to size, One way to do so if you know the original image's dimensions is to right click the image > set dimensions, then set the dimensions of the image (ie, 2000 height by 1000 width as an example). Another tip is, when you drag the image out from the library, hold down alt to prevent it from distorting by snapping to grid. Anywho, it takes practice, but once you know what you are doing placing maps properly and aligning them to the grid is super quick and easy.
As far as character sheets are concerned, you don't make a character sheet, you choose one to use for your game. For example, if you were playing 5e D&D, you'd select the Roll20 5e Character sheet from the dropdown menu when you first create a game. Then you fill it out manually, just as you would a Mythweavers character sheet. There are tons of tutorials on Youtube if you search!

For reference, the standard scale for Roll20 is 70 pixels per square.
