How can I disable "Apply Dominant Color from Map Layer on every lobby and map?

*Venting a little*  I have 98 Lobbies, some with as many as 200+ maps on them.  How do I turn off this unasked for new feature "Apply Dominant Color From Map Layer"???

It creates a headache and is an eyesore when I am streaming.  I setup an OBS overlay specifically to have a white border around maps so it doesn't make weird artifacts as you move the camera position around the tabletop.  Roll20 is antiquated and old compared to some of the newer TTRPG systems coming out but this feature just highlights that.  Why was it pushed out enabled?  Do I have to laboriously go thru and disable it on every map I want to use now...?

Instead of giving us features no one asked for, can you make it easier to switch layers, or add layer tags so it is easier to identify which layer a token sits on...?  That sounds easy right?

*EDIT*  Awesome!  I'll try those right away!  That's still going to be a pain for 98 lobbies...

Hi Ski98!

I have not tried this myself, but I have seen anecdotally that you can set this behavior on the Campaign Settings page and then use Miscellaneous > Apply Default Settings while in-game to apply to every page in the game. You would still need to do it for each game, but it should handle all the maps in each game.

Out of curiosity, do you have any issues managing 200+ maps in one game? That's very much above the norm. Lazy Loading has removed a lot of the issues with large games, but I am curious if you've noticed anything.

Also, I can understand the desire for layer tags (it's a feature of VTTES, though I personally find it annoying in implementation), but what could be made easier about switching layers? What is the pain point?

Go to the GAME SETTINGS for the campaign you want to disable this feature. Disable it there and SAVE. After that, enter your campaign and click on "Apply Default Settings" and CHECK BOTH Checkboxes "Backdrop Color" and "Apply Dominant Color from Map Layer". Click on the Button "Apply Default Settings" and wait for it to finish.

Note:  The solution as presented did resolve the dynamic color issue.  I still wish Roll20 would NOT have pushed this unasked for change onto all of my lobbies because the "fix" just created 1000 more problems.  The only way to apply the default changes requires it to apply the changes to all Player Tokens, and NPC tokens.  I use different settings for the bars for Player and NPC tokens...  now all of my NPC tokens are broken.  /sighs

I can't win on this one.  I'm not even sure it's something I'll even try to fix at this point.  I'll just deal with the individual NPC tokens all having linked heal bars...

Could you elaborate on how this has affected tokens? The Dynamic Color settings don't have anything to do with the token settings as far as I am aware.

Perhaps a screenshot of the Campaign Details page of the settings?
