Character edits undone by game.

I edited a character sheet earlier this week.  The game has decided to reset 2/3 of the character sheet.  The main section and configuration have been erased to what they were when the character was first created.  This is a pathfinder 1e sheet that was built directly, not using the charactermancer. This is so frustrating.  Why does roll20 do this?  What's the point of building a character if the site is going to erase your work?

Hi Justin R., have you tried to roll back the game to an earlier state where the character might still be intact?  Alternately have you reached out to the Devs via the Help Center ? They may also be able to roll it back, or at the very least investigate what might have happened to prevent it from happening again.  Was there anything that occurred before the sheet lost data? Perhaps it didn't open correctly?
I'm not the DM, not sure I have permission to roll a character back.  I have not reached out yet.  Nothing weird happened.

We've also had some trouble with players' character sheets (also Pathfinder 1E) where all the stats would reset to 10. Fortunately, I'd backed up the characters in the Vault.

Justin R. and Domigorgon, Did the sheet hang during opening? Did you refresh?  Did anything else happen before the data was lost? Any information might be useful in trying to recreate the issue.

I have no idea what caused it, and it seems to have happened both times sometime between the sessions without the players even accessing the sheets. I can't be certain, though, as it happened only twice (to one player about four months ago, to another a month ago).
I have refreshed, closed out of the game and opened again, refreshed, all that.  The only odd thing that happened was that the second time I opened it, it asked if I wanted to use the charactermancer or edit the sheet directly-  at which point I knew something was going on.  At first one was fine and the other wasn't, then the other reset.  I mostly DM and use off-site character sheets, and this does not happen with those other sites.  I've also used two other RPing sites and I've never seen this happen with a character sheet.

This lines up with what I experienced once. The sheet lost the data and thought it was starting from scratch. However a number of fields still had information but some did not, such as attributes.  I have filed a report with the Devs.
Thanks.  The character is only for third level right now, so I made a version off site and re-did the character.
