Hello there! My name is Cotton and I wish to join a table and I was wondering if you're reading this, you could extend a spot. Enough about that, let me introduce myself! Who are you? My name has already been stated, granted, it's not my true name as I'm rather distant to talking about IRL things to strangers I've yet to get to know. I'm 24 years old but within June, I'd be turning 25! I'm a central timezone player, but for the near future I'd be in Australia on a college class elective. Not to say I wouldn't be able to attend your session while on vacation, as I'm a avid laptop user. I wanted to clarify this as I might be open for an interview when its very late... To add a bit more about my hobbies, I'm a beginner digital artist and I have a knack for writing, if you need me to write a certain amount for a character I'd try my best to make it good. Outside of that hobby, I'm a SDI Scuba Diver and I plan to do some of that during my stay in Australia, outside of that the obligatory video games as a hobby too. Some of my favorite games are Maplestory, Risk of Rain 2, Classic World of Warcraft, and Doom Zandronum multiplayer (My favorite Wad so far is ZDoomWars!), I also recently started playing Fire Emblem : Three Houses and I'm enjoying it so far! Golden Deer for life! How much do I know about D&D? I've heard about it since early middle school, thank a web series called "Unforgotten Realms" for that. I've tried to get some gameplay down with a 3.5e starter kit back in the 2012-14s but the city I live in isn't really easy to get gameplay in. I've started playing online over discord in 2021 and in 2022 started playing on roll20. Overall I'd say I have 200 hours of 5e, and half a dozen with 3.5e but mostly an after thought. It's been tricky to get into games recently is all I can say. What about the game? Well, I'm open for most days throughout the week from 4 to 11. On the weekend things start to free up, Fridays I can play anytime past 4, Saturdays on any time but I may get into a table on that day but its still uncertain, and on Sundays all day til 11. The biggest strength I can offer is my flexibility as I try to clear everything else away to make time for commitments I say I will. Even if it means staying up late if I'm tired. I don't like to say something then not do it. Do I care about the campaign I join? Not that much, if it's homebrew or a written adventure, I wouldn't mind at all, even if its 18+ or 21+, just if you think I might be able to fit in your group just give me a message! I already have a few PC’s I made for some campaigns but never got past session 1. I might wanna play but I’ll buzz them by you before anything is set in stone. If you’re curious, Circle of Land Druid and a Cavalier Fighter, I really love the idea of mounted combat. The only thing I expect from a DM and players is clear communication, if I'm doing something that is disruptive, tell me about it so I can fix it. It's not great to be kicked without a chance to fix what I was doing wrong. Why you? To be fair, I’m not the greatest at selling myself. Like I said, my flexibility is my greatest strength, if you need me to rework the backstory for my PC I’d be happy to oblige. I’d totally be down to chip in a few bucks for buying books / membership on roll20 too, I just want to make sure everyone is happy at the end of the day.
