Just wasnt sure about the many regular NPCs names if they should ave to forcefully deserve Legendary creature because they ave a name...
I like these! Take another 40 bonus xp, too. Cedric D. said: Just wasnt sure about the many regular NPCs names if they should ave to forcefully deserve Legendary creature because they ave a name... Generally, any completely unique thing is given the Legendary supertype. So Selisa should definitely be legendary, and though your concept for her is very clever and interesting, I think I might also add something about revealing the opponent's hand. Perhaps "While Selisa is attacking, the defending player plays with their hand revealed"?
Maybe have it be a built in gitaxian probe, a la pay 2 life and target player reveals their hand, activate once per turn only as a sorcery or the like I say this even though I absolutely despise thoughtseize, probe, duress etc because they give you way too much information for how cheap they are and are just generally way too good and also unfun to deal with. I love the "oof" factor when an opponent sees my bomb hit the field, or when I get to counter an opponent's soul shatter and say "no, and f** you for trying" (I despise "target player sacrifices" cards as well due to how difficult they are to interact with) but you can't do that if you were probed or thoughtseized first. Oh, I know the game needs hard removal or it would be "lol whoever plays their Eldrazi first wins" but cards like soul shatter really piss me off because of how they can usually be just "murder, but gets around indestructible and hexproof" since the card with the highest mana value will usually be the threat you would be hitting with murder anyway. Anyway, now you have a bit of context as to why I gave Avariel the effect I gave him. I was also debating adding "When an opponent casts a spell or activates an ability that would cause you to discard one or more cards or sacrifice one or more permanents, you may put Avariel onto the battlefield from your hand. If you do, treat that spell or ability as though it targeted that player instead" just as an additional "f** discard prison decks, their players, and everything both represent" but there was no room left on the card even with minimum text size, and I figured the card was good enough as is, so... shrug

It would be a perfect representation of Selisa's treachery then. She was meant to be an infuriating wrench in your plans all along, waiting for the right moment to fuck everything up. :P
I made Selisa as strong as a 2 mana cost suggest... i ave no issue personnally to the powers suggested exept probably make the card more costy.  I try to keep in back on my head that the wayfinders deck will desperately need mana source , low cost creatures and dragons for Limar.  So basically i think shes mint as so and if you want to had Legendary to it, the cost wont change, but had anything else to it and it will in my opinion. I suggest  to give her synergy with with another legendary we'l make instead, Like Red King for example. Giving, humanoids +1/+1s or something like that.

¨ I absolutely despise thoughtseize, probe, duress etc because they give you way too much information ¨  -Nate I would save this ^ for our enemy cards and make our seer allies cards such as scry and search library for: ________ We could also make Magic Jar Card Sorcery do this similarly by something-something: play top deck of X creature cards in opponent library. (since the jar does not allow me to cast their spells)

Seemingly, serpents supply significant self-satisfaction solely sporting signatures stacking sufficiently surplus sibilants.  It took me way longer than I’d like to admit to write that sentence  Anyway I am continuing to make cards and the list should update as I go; minor setback as they don’t take Imgur links for card art anymore so I have to get creative (roll20 character portraits don’t always cooperate)
Cedric D. said: So basically i think shes mint as so and if you want to had Legendary to it, the cost wont change, but had anything else to it and it will in my opinion. Well, keep in mind that Legendary is also mechanically a drawback (at least in non-singleton formats), so she could get an extra ability to balance it out. Cedric D. said: We could also make Magic Jar Card Sorcery do this similarly by something-something: play top deck of X creature cards in opponent library. (since the jar does not allow me to cast their spells) Generally, playing cards from an opponent's library would  represent something like casting their spells, stealing their memories, etc. Since magic jar  steals their body, not their soul, it might be better represented by taking control of a creature but it losing all activated abilities. Maybe sacrificing your own creature as an additional cost, too?
I think with this amount of legendary, we can have an edh deck with a 5c commander that's like Jodah, Codie, or Go-Shintai. Maybe it's something like: The Catacomb of the Lich-King, the Death Awaits (1,W,U,B,R,G) Legendary Land (Tap),( W,U,B,R,G ): Exile a legendary card from your hand and put a slumber counter on it. Then copy the exiled card, you may cast the copy without paying its mana cost. This card can be your commander (W,W,U,U,B,B,R,R,G,G)  Exile   The Catacomb of the Lich-King, the Death Awaits , then return it to the battlefield transformed under its owner's control. Activate this ability only any time you could cast a sorcery. -----Transform----- Lich-King Tellaj, the Horror Beyond Legendary Planeswalker - Zombie Wizard [-1]: Cast the card from exile with  slumber counter on it without paying its mana cost . (Add the rest of Nicol Bolas, the Arisen here because I'm too lazy) Yes, I know it's quite an op card; and in hindsight, King Leopold III or Kraggan probably make more sense for this Wayfinder theme deck while Tellaj should be a commander for the villain's deck, but then again, I'm too lazy.

This is verrrry tempting to respond to with spoilers, but I must resist. Instead, here's Leopold and a ridiculously overcomplicated Kraggan card:
Horsemanship — now that’s an obscure keyword mechanic. Had to look that one up :P and I thought I was old-fashioned giving Cassius Wither and Intimidate
Nate S. said: Horsemanship — now that’s an obscure keyword mechanic. Had to look that one up :P and I thought I was old-fashioned giving Cassius Wither and Intimidate I probably would've given him Fear. ;P

I can't remember because it's been a while since I saw either of them Fear was the original version, it was mostly used on black creatures and gave "can't be blocked except by black or artifact creatures". They replaced it with Intimidate eventually, as part of a larger initiative to make keywords easier to understand and remember, based on extensive market research. Part of the same effort that created Hexproof to replace Shroud.

I ave no prob aving Magic Jar a sorcery that take control of target creature , you want it red of blue? -Red: Low cost , usually takes control for one turn -Blue: High cost, usually creature controled stays on battlefield Gold?: Does both at even greater cost Optional Black?*:  add phaze to one of your creature ( i mean the ability that exile temporary a creature) as long as controlled creature is on battlefield *Something to emulate the near-invulnerability that the spell in effect brings
i guess we ave so much ideas it be likelly a singleton deck lol ,  OR literally a set of 200... my point is; we probably should think about our commons or agree on idk... how many mythic, rare, uncommon and common there would be.  Save all the Character names card for Mythic and Rare, places & spells for uncommon. I would wish to save some common slots for the little guy like Farmer and Mayor Bill and all the wayfinders dogs but true name calling in the sence of a common card is sadly abnormal in MTG. Does Legendary Common even exist anyway?

Magic jar lasts a while, so I think blue would make more sense. Phasing is only until your next turn, so maybe the Champion key ability would be a better fit for the replacement. Something like "Enchant creature., Champion a Wizard. You control enchanted creature." Does Legendary Common even exist anyway? There are quite a few legendary commons, actually, though most are reprints of the vanilla uncommon creatures from Legends, backgrounds, or test cards. If this were a set, it would probably be a very small special collector set like March of the Machine Aftermath, not a regular set intended for limited play. Also, while my main computer (with all the DMing notes) was in the shop, I went a little crazy with card designs... enjoy. :P This first pair is a double-faced card, with The Stonefare as the front face: And these are just miscellaneous designs. Knowing me, there may also be some important worldbuilding clues slipped in among their mechanics... :3c
Very cool.
