Dynamic Lighting Problems

I got some maps from a creator on Reddit with the vtt files. I uploaded my main map and put in the vtt file, everything works great. However, if I put a different map section in and add that vtt file, it ends up doubling my original vtt file and then moves all the dynamic lighting off. Is there an easy way to fix this and work around it?

Hi Hannah, There is no native support within Roll20 for dropping a map in with a vtt file to create the Dynamic Lighting so I am going to assume you are using an extension or a Mod (API script).  If it is an extension I would recommend contacting the support for that extension. Alternately if you state which extension you are using some folks might know what it is and what to do with it.  If it is a Mod (API script) I would head over to the Mods (API Scripts) forum and ask the folks there. I would include which Mod you are using.

Hi Hannah! What do you mean when you say "vtt file"? Is this something different from a map? There are some scripts that will import the Universal VTT format, is that what you mean?
I am using the UniversalVTTImporter.js Mod API script to get the Universal VTT to work. I put the .dd2vtt file through Universal VTT Import Sanitizer and put that script into the gm notes for that map image. Though I have a couple extra map images attached in with my main map. So when I put the next script in the second images gm notes and run !uvtt it doubles the main maps dynamic lighting and the scews it all.  Though now not even the !uvtt command is working for me. Any ideas?

Hmm. !uvtt operates on the selected images. If you have more than one selected, it will reimport the DL from ones that have already run. It should work as expected still though. Can you post some screenshots of what is happening? Worst case, you can PM me a join link and GM me, and I can investigate.
