I need help making my first character for a Oneshot maybe (homebrew?)

Hey everyone,  I know this might sound weird but I've always to try DnD as a drunken monk but not really as the already existing 5e monk subclass... I don't know if I could maybe have some help from experienced DnD Dungeon Master but if I could that would be great. My first thought of playing a drunken monk was that he was always carrying a "special" flask that the monk could use as a bonus action (once per fight, maybe more after some lvls) and by rolling a d6, it would gives the monk specific buffs. EG; rolling a 1 as a lvl 1 drunken monk would just make his attack modifier -1 or -2 for example (which would be replaces by a benefit later on) but other numbers would be like adding a little bit of fire damage to his unarmed attack, thunder damage, cold damage, poison breath (like the monk can use his bonus action to burp in front of him doing a small cone attack) etc ... those would be representing the alcohol the monk is drinking. I wont ask to go at a higher level since I am mostly trying to find a Oneshot to see if I can/like roleplay but if I can have some help for this, it would be nice.

Hi Kushio,  This forum is really more how to code and use the character sheets and Compendium questions.  There is no Roll20 forum for how to create a character.  Generally you get help from your DM on how to make a character as every DM has their own guidelines for making characters.

Oh my bad then, I thought that would be the perfect section to ask for help since I am new to the website. So if I were to ask about my homebrew idea, I should ask the DM beforehand to see if he would be accepting it firsthand and second, if it is properly balances for it.
