Deleted Tokens Reappearing

I was setting up a new character in a 5e game. I placed the token down, set up its bars and vision, set it as the token for the character sheet, and then deleted it. After a few moments the token reappeared. This occurs every time the token is deleted. I tried place a new copy of the art asset used for the token and setting up it's bars and vision and now BOTH tokens are continually reappearing. 

Hi Rory,  This might be an old bug that never got nailed down.  My suggestion, remove the token from the character sheet, delete all the existing tokens on the table, build a new token and assign it to the sheet. That may remove the problem.
