players to playtest the heavy metal themed horror adventure I’m working on
before self-publishing. SONGS OF THE METALNOMICON VOL. I: ENTER THE BLOOD TEMPLE System: D&D 5e Player slots available : 4 Schedule:
Afternoons/Evenings PST (2-4 times a month), around 3-5 sessions total Content warning: horror, gore, and
probably lots of swearing - adults only . Think an R-rated film. I’d
compare it to the Evil Dead series, Mörk Borg, or Ravenloft in terms of tone. Game scenario: Play as… yourself
as you and your friends gather for a session of D&D on the wickedest night
of the year - *Halloween* Unfortunately,
your beleaguered DM reads from the only book viler and darker than the Book of
Vile Darkness… \m/ The M E T A L
N O M I C O N \m/ With only your
middling wits and feeble courage to protect you, the tome’s black magic sends
your group on a horrific point-crawl/sandbox type adventure through a realm
still plagued by a dead demonic god. *Cue death metal riff* You do NOT need to
be into heavy metal or familiar with D&D 5e to play. You DO need to be
fluent in English and have a decent microphone/stable internet connection. If you ever wanted
to play a D&D adventure inside of a heavy metal album cover, now’s your
