Eric W. said: Thank you Gauss, this worked! I forgot about the hyperlinks I guess. As for the Dragon, I think I'll have to create something myself. It is mentioned in Book 2: Rise of the Drow. Chapter 4: Krelgar Keep Ruins. It's in 3b. Guard Lockers. Locker 5. Locker 5 gives this description: " A quartet of Yul’s skeletons have stood within, waiting to join the assault on the white dragon Tathious for centuries. As soon as the door is opened they march out, immediately head for the stairs, and then attempt to leave the keep. If they are engaged they will turn and fight, but otherwise they simply exit the ruin and head toward the mountains far to the north. They are about eight feet tall and armed with wicked-looking serrated greataxes." And then it says, " Tathious’s Lair If the heroes don’t outright destroy the skeletons, they may decide to follow them. They will lead the way to the lair of an ancient female white dragon named Tathious. Her lair is buried deep in an underground stronghold of the Ancients. Tathious’s son Tethsantious (a young adult white dragon) will see them entering the ancient stronghold and follow from a distance. If the adventurers engage his mother he will attack from behind; she has saved him twice before and this grudging admiration of her prowess means his desire to protect her overcomes his natural instinct to let a party weaken her before stepping in to kill both the adventurers and his mother (and stealing her hoard). That’s the case for today; who knows about tomorrow. This battle should be nearly impossible for the heroes to win at this stage but if they are able to conquer both dragons they will have access to a treasure hoard. The GM should roll randomly for any items, but reward players with no less than three useful items each if the initial results don’t turn up anything they can use." But there are no hyperlinks. It's a little bit odd because the adventurers are only level 5 and they'd never survive this encounter unless it was seriously nerfed (like maybe they just fight the son with the help of the Troll Skeletons). But I wanted to see if there was a map and more to go with this, but looks like there isn't. The way that reads is as an unpublished element which is pretty common really. A lot of adventures have these sorts of 'side quests'. TBH, that can be handled with roleplay, foreboding, etc. Yes, there is no chance the PCs could handle that dragon, let alone the pair. But there are ways around that as a DM. Make it a social encounter instead, perhaps the Dragon wants something. Or, an Ancient Dragon alters the terrain for miles around. Some arcana checks could reveal they are approaching the lair of something big and nasty, give the players plenty of "you should be scared" hints. If they keep proceeding perhaps the Young dragon will try to show his mettle and attack rather than observe (instead of attacking while they fight his mother). He can drop statements about his very ancient mother during the fight.
