Chat-Archive is mixing up posts.

One of the groups I play is having some trouble with the chat archive. Ever since 4/5/2013, the chat archive does not display the posts in the order they were made. The posts made prior to that are in the correct order. But from then on they are broken up and it shows a tendency to cluster together posts made by a particular person, no matter that they were made several minutes apart. The name of the campaign is Blood & Smoke. And the GM is Aiden. The moment that the chat begins to mess up is actually fairly clear cut. It is right around this part here: Fiorenzo Severin:Better than being excessively late like last time. Better safe than sorry. Oh, and I'm keeping all the logs for the campaign. Chat logs. Which is why I did it. Rodrigo:Hey everyone Vortigen:Hey-o. Hope to hear from ya.
Hmmm...the previous issue that was causing this was a global issue (affecting all campaigns). This seems to be a campaign-specific issue. Can you let me know after the next time you run a session, if you still have the same issue? Also would there be anyone in your campaign whose computer clock is set to an incorrect time by any chance? Just curious.
Well, we ran one on Saturday 4/6/2013. And the issue persisted. As for the computer clock being set to an incorrect time...I do not believe so but I'll ask around. We are all in different time zones, do not know if that could have caused it. The only thing that I can think caused it was that one of the players accidentally clicked the back browser button, then logged back in normally. The problem has persisted since.
Hello, I'm a player of the campaign from the old problem. Well, we have it again too so I fear it's not campaign-specific. Thankfully now messages are mixed much less randomly, but they still are. The problem seems to be there since last session (4/7/2013). That session, I think, started with the following messages from the same player: Sweet Potato: Oh boy No backgrounds And no houses Oh here we go Messages get mixed up from the start of that session. For example, I noted on this image what should be the right order of a little conversation I had early in the session (with probably messages from other players in the middle, but I can't remember every message): http://img33.imageshack.us/img33/691/chatlogfornotageneralaw.png As you can see the mixed messages are all pretty close to each other, not like last time. Like Santo's campaign we are all from different timezones (americans, europeans and one australian).
Riley D. said: Can you let me know after the next time you run a session, if you still have the same issue? Hi, just checking in to say that we had another game yesterday and the issue persisted.
Actually I am experiencing same thing. My campaign was "Golbin's Lair - In the Mall." The message is all messed up. It was very funny game and want to save it but the oder of the post is screwed up. So lets say the order was A B C D E but sometimes order are A D B C E Something like that. It is like someone mixed the posts, and randomized it completely. So one more chat archive prolbem, I guess?
Our campaign as the same issue.
Are the mixed up posts always between different people? Like for example everything that Player A says is always in the right order, but then sometimes Player B's posts are in-between Player A's posts?
I checked the logs of the campaign I'm in and it looks like that's the case. Post by players are always in the right order (you don't find a post by player A from the end session between two earlier posts by the same player), but it seems like the general order is mixed up.
Any news on this issue? I see our campaign (and other's campaign) still has the problem.
