(18+Preferred)(Weekly Wednesday 6pm EST) (DND5e) (Discord) Two interchanging Campaigns looking for 2 players to join multi-year long game. (Prepare 2 characters)

Introduction We are a group of friends who have been getting together on Discord to play DND. Campaign 1 - Icleros the Rise of the Dragon Lords, is a campaign that has been going on since 2019 and has been going strong. Campaign 2 - The Disturbance of Pershein, is a more recently started campaign that we are playing to allow breaks for the DM of Campaign 1. The general set-up being that we will play an arc of one campaign before jumping to the other so that both DMs have more time for prepping larger plans. Campaign 1 - Icleros: Rise of the Dragon Lords Plot: (DISCLAIMER: In this campaign, we use the Eberron maps, but the DMs own lore. If you can not accept that the lore of Eberron is not used but its maps are then this is not the game for you.) In The world of Icleros, there was a great Calamity that was caused by five chromatic dragon lords of old. Reality sundered and portals between the realms all began opening up across the world. However, the battle was focused on one location. This location would later be known as The Mournlands, a horrifically scarred land that almost no one really ventures into. Mysteriously, the five dragon lords are back and seemingly seeking to cause destruction all over again. And through a BOAT LOAD of shenanigans the party is now involved and seeking to put a stop to them. Current Task/BS the Party got themselves into: After saving one of the party's older brothers, the group arrives back at the ship The Vannoc. Edmund, returns with his wounded brother back to his family home and plans to figure out some family issues there. The rest of the party, are to continue their tasks. The party, Members of the Ironglades: Order of the Burning Rose, were tasked by King Belgrim of Thrane to venture to the Ironroot Mountains and seek out the Stone Giants there to help rebuild a massive ancient bridge their ancestors built long ago. Along the path to this goal, the party must continue sailing along the Cyre River to Karrlakton. The party knows that Karrlakton is currently under attack by Aberrations. They also know that there are multiple grumpy dragons that are waiting for them there. One being a dragon, Venomous, that was promised they would be there over a week ago. Party got side tracked and the party have yet to check in on this particular dragon since. The second dragon that they are waiting for is the Lord of the Blue Dragons himself Fremmir the Nocturnal, and the Calm. The party has made a deal with this dragon lord who shows a unique interest in them. Though, Fremmir does seem to come as well with a mate, an ancient blue dragoness named Ashaklal, The Raging Storm. A much more formidable duo compared to Venomous, though they seem the calmer of the pair. What will happen along the sailing trip to Karrlakton, and within the city itself? Will you be able to help our party of misfits prevent a second calamity? Party: Party lvl - 14 Henrik Bludforge - College of Lore Bard - Dwarf Edmund Ifnir (Character On Break/Will Return) - Eldritch Knight Fighter/War Mage Wizard - Human TBA (Edmund’s side character) - Thief rogue Parodia - Way of the Astral Self Monk - Cactus man TBA - Arcane Archer Fighter Where you come in: You, and other recruits will be coming in as fellow Ironglades members. While you aren’t normally members of The Burning Rose branch, given it’s relatively recent forming. However, Guild Master Theodorick and Lady Adara (ancient founders of the guild who still run it) have tasked you with aiding The Burning Rose as their task is one sent by the gods themselves. No matter the race or class you pick, a few things will have been happening with your character. 1. You have been traveling a while doing odd jobs for the guild (maybe farthing your own goal). 2. You will have been attacked and almost killed by an Abishai. It’s quite possible your former party was killed by them and you were the last survivor. 3. Due to your being away from the guild on odd jobs, and recovery from the Abishai attacks, you only recently learned of the guild’s almost total annihilation at the hands of a demon lord. Thankfully, The Burning Rose saved it, though most of your former associates in the guild are all dead and the guild is trying to rebuild now. Campaign 2 - The Disturbance of Pershein Plot: In the empirical continent of Pershein many oddities have started occurring. People have been going missing only to return weeks later with little memory of where they’ve been or what has happened to them. Monstrous races have been seen working with beasts and humanoids alike to make seemingly harmonious living spaces. Portals opening up to different planes. Most notably one to a thing called the Storm of Souls. The party had been traveling to a lumber mill to find out what happened to a guildmaster for the town Filaphi. On the way they’ve encountered necromantic trees, giant undead hands, and the general unease of something following them. Currently the party has been inside the necromantic tree which has led to an interesting quarry of plane-hopping and possibly time travel. Note: As a DM I try to mold my world around my players. Give me backstories, give me reasons as to what makes your character tick and I will wrap the world around your character and infuse them as best I can.  Party:   Party lvl - 11 Tzipora Lucinia - Order of Scribe Wizard - Aasimar Sledge Daydark - Path of the Berzerker Barbarian/Phantom Rogue 4 Tyreus Ebrec - Fighter 2, Oath of Vengeance Paladin 8, Hexblade Warlock 1 Twinklehog -Twilight Domain Cleric 11 Where you come in : All published material for D&D 5e is allowed. We can talk about a backstory and where your character will best fit in to where the party is. C2 is a bit more chaotic in terms of storytelling but not less of a good time.  Brief Other Things to Know About the Group/Rules/Requests You can double up on classes, just do not double up on subclasses for C1, C2 I’ll take any class/subclass of published material for 5e. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly group. ANY hate towards this group will result in an instant removal from the group and ban. We are noob friendly Please come with decent quality connection, mic and camera. We tend to proffer if you can use your camera but understand if there are bad moments where you need it off for a bit due to IRL stuff. If you are a rules lawyer, this is not the game for you. Rule of cool wins out, with mild fact checking. Application The following are a few general questions for us to be able to get to know you a little better and see if you are a good fit for our campaign, as well as help us narrow our options. Please feel free to copy paste these questions into your reply and answer them. Thank you very much. 1. First off, please introduce yourself. Please include what we are to call you, pronouns, age, and anything else you are willing to share about yourself in relevance pertaining to DND. 2. What's your preferred % of split interactions? Roleplay, Exploration, Combat. 3. Please share a brief story you loved from one of your previous campaigns. Please try to avoid super long tales with long explanations, as those are more fun to be shared post game as we get to learn more about one another during game. If you don’t have a campaign you were a part of, or are a DND noob, please share with us a fantasy story you REALLY enjoyed! 4. Roleplay Experiment: Your character needs a book in the possession of a local baron in order to save the life of a dear friend, and you need it by the end of tomorrow. How do you get that book within the two day period? 5. Is there anything you DO NOT want to see in your DND games? Any hard no’s in your games that may bring up traumas? (Example: Particular brutal descriptions, NPCs experiencing DV) **If this is something you would rather wait to share, that can be discussed at the second part of the application process** 6. Why do you play D&D? What do you enjoy the most? 7. Have you ever had a problem with another player? How did you handle it? 8. How would you handle a situation where the DM makes a ruling you disagree with in the moment? 9. What do YOU want to get out of this DND game? Entertainment, work through an issue, friendship, a feeling of being a hero, lots of rp opportunities, etc. Don’t be afraid to elaborate.
1. First off, please introduce yourself. Please include what we are to call you, pronouns, age, and anything else you are willing to share about yourself in relevance pertaining to DND. - I'm TheEchoKnight here on Roll 20, Visual on Discord but you can call me by my name Tristann. I'm 21 years old, he/him and dedicated to Dungeons and Dragons for fun, and adventure within campaigns (whether they are entirely off the wall like the one-shots that I enjoy making, or grounded in authentic realism with touches of gritty themes and concepts).  * By the way, to further our chances of communicating outside of the Roll20 forms, here is my Discord: @visualpersona 2. What's your preferred % of split interactions? Roleplay, Exploration, Combat. - I enjoy as even a split as possible honestly. If i could put 100% in all of them I would, but for the sake of the question, this is what my split is roughly sum'd up to: (within the bounds of a 100% split) - Roleplay: 50% - Exploration: 30% - Combat: 20% 3. - The tale of four kobolds venturing down into the depths of an Underdark society led by the Illithid (Mindflayer's) who have kidnapped the infant red dragon son of the Crimson King (An Ancient Red Dragon). This is where one of my players, Kolmac (while they were led by me as their GM through the game), had used the *jump spell to clear as massive jump from the fortress they were fleeing to leap from the collapsing fortress and make it to safety on a ridge in the cavern they originally entered from.  *I had ruled during the game that the Jump Spell offered cumulative increases to the jumping/leaping rules in D&D 5e, which is what allowed them to clear the massive jump in the cavern.  4. Roleplay Experiment: Your character needs a book in the possession of a local baron in order to save the life of a dear friend, and you need it by the end of tomorrow. How do you get that book within the two day period? - For this exercise, I'll say that I am a Paladin in the Order of the  Ironglades , and attempt to use my status as a member of the order and my connections with the order to get access from the book with the bounds of the first day while passively scoping out the Barons estate in the case that any of my interactions with them, or their associates go off the wall. And if communications within my first day lead me nowhere (within the two-day time frame to save my friend) I will have to resort to "borrowing" the book from the Barons possession in a trial of combat or flat out espionage (whether failed or successful).  5. Is there anything you DO NOT want to see in your DND games? Any hard no’s in your games that may bring up traumas? (Example: Particular brutal descriptions, NPCs experiencing DV) **If this is something you would rather wait to share, that can be discussed at the second part of the application process** - I will share this information during the second part of the interview process since I don't wanna have this put out here on Roll20 forms. 6. Why do you play D&D? What do you enjoy the most? - Despite having to break down my preferences for the three (rough) bases of a D&D game, I love TTRPGs like D&D for the roleplay, and general interactions with the world. As someone that enjoys communicating with people, and getting to know the world around me, I love building worlds together with people (as much as I enjoy making worlds on my own); along with dapping of combat thrown into the mix when we get to satiate our bloodlus- (ha murderhobo jab) I- I mean save the world from asshats or defend ourselves from bandits & wildlife. 7. Have you ever had a problem with another player? How did you handle it? - I have had my fair share of troubles with my previous D&D group, in particular a good buddy of mine Asmodai (I'm using the name of my friend's D&D character to refer to him as), who was a power gamer in the strongest sense of the word that would challenge himself to break the boundaries of combat for fun during our games when the DMs allowed him to. In a one-shot I was running with Asmodai as a player, I laid out the guidelines that we will not be using approved homebrew classes or subclasses content from dndwiki to make characters with, and yet he decided to make such a character with that content, which I became aware of during the game and didn't want to cancel or slow the game down to resolve the situation. After the game, I touched on the class & subclass usage and properly got the subject resolved during the week where we sat down on a VC in Discord and helped him make a character with average 5e content that he could bust the game with.  8. How would you handle a situation where the DM makes a ruling you disagree with in the moment? - I would make a compromise with the person GM/DM guiding us through the game(s) since they aren't the enemy, they're a guide providing us with a chance to make a story that we can take with us throughout our lives, and if there's any issues that come up as a result of the ruling, i'll talk about it with them later on since we are in the middle of a game and would benefit from keeping the snow ball rolling down the hill for as long as possible.  9. What do YOU want to get out of this DND game? Entertainment, work through an issue, friendship, a feeling of being a hero, lots of rp opportunities, etc. Don’t be afraid to elaborate. - I wanna get the experiences of building bonds by establishing a world with people, being a protagonist in a world (regardless of whether we are recognized as the heroes or the villain's), and roleplaying with people who I want to get to know far more who are behind this form post, since on the surface (as in the surface of the form post) you guys and your campaign(s) are who I enjoy playing with and establish games that I wanna play in. 1
Brief update to this post quickly! My Co-DM (Campaign 2) and myself (Campaign 1) are just switching back off between campaigns again. Meaning, when you will be joining our campaigns, you will be picking up with us in Campaign 1 - Icleros: Rise of the Dragon Lords. We are looking to start the campaign back up July 26th. This means that we are going to be keeping this Advert going, roughly until July 20th where we will be making our final picks on candidates. Though, we are keeping an eye out on posts daily. Again, we are excited to welcome new players into our fold and are excited
1. First off, please introduce yourself. Please include what we are to call you, pronouns, age, and anything else you are willing to share about yourself in relevance pertaining to DND. Hey there! I'm Nick (He/Him), a pleasure to meet you. I am 28 years old and am a freelance character artist and voice over artist outside of my day job. Being an artist, I tend to make art for my character and of my party throughout play (whether it be portrait art or capturing memorable moments from the campaign) and being an voice actor, I've been able to utilize mimicry to a certain degree in game to help sell certain disguises my characters would don. 2. What's your preferred % of split interactions? Roleplay, Exploration, Combat. Ideally, the split in interactions would be 35/25/40 for Roleplay/Exploration/Combat. One of the most memorable moments has to be when one of my fellow party members hijacked an Elder Brain's control over the entire Mind Flayer colony it had cultivated over countless centuries before essentially causing it to implode on itself by way of a mass induced Feeblemind feedback loop.  4. Roleplay Experiment: Your character needs a book in the possession of a local baron in order to save the life of a dear friend, and you need it by the end of tomorrow. How do you get that book within the two day period? For this scenario, I'll say that I'm playing as a Rogue. On the first day, I'd scout out the Baron's home whilst it's light out and attempt to mark down all of the entrances, exits and external windows that I can see prioritizing any areas in which the book might be kept. I would be vigilant as to any visible servants, guards and visitors to the estate, paying keen attention to any names, conversations, mannerisms, attire or habits so to build a believable profile for the following day. Once night falls, I would cross check all of the onsite personnel and mark out the night shift's vision cones and rotations before testing their respective response times to various sounds and sights just as a precaution. I would then pull back from the home before attempting to put together a disguise for the following day for one of the lower ranked internal servants.  On the second day, I would then attempt to infiltrate the home whilst in disguise. First, without being seen, but if caught, bluff my way through utilizing what was learned the previous day (names of other servants, responsibilities, visitors, etc.). Then, once inside, I would resume skulking about where possible in order to locate the book. If it is unattended, I would simply swipe it before making my way out. However, if it is under watch be it the Baron themselves is reading it or it is in a location that cannot be reached simply, I would note its location before heading to an mostly isolated area wherein I can initiate a thick, smoky oil fire to fill the home with smoke. In the chaos, I would slip in and grab the book if left behind or escort the Baron out under the guise of a servant and take it from off his person amidst the rush. 5. Is there anything you DO NOT want to see in your DND games? Any hard no’s in your games that may bring up traumas? (Example: Particular brutal descriptions, NPCs experiencing DV) **If this is something you would rather wait to share, that can be discussed at the second part of the application process** If possible I'd be more open to sharing these during the second part of the application process. 6. Why do you play D&D? What do you enjoy the most? I play D&D to immerse myself in another world and to have a fun time outside the confinements of every day life. What I truly enjoy the most is getting lost in the world itself alongside other likeminded individuals and just believing for that briefest of moments that I truly am what I am embodying. The narratives told and discovered together, the relationships forged through shared experiences, it is something wholly unlike anything else.  7. Have you ever had a problem with another player? How did you handle it? I've had my fair share of in game problems with other characters, certainly, rarely the players. Mostly stemming from differing ideologies or beliefs inherent within the characters themselves and their goals. Whenever those moments occurred, it hardly overflowed out onto the player themselves as we would have after care wherein we would hash out any lingering emotions/thoughts and settle things rather easily on the spot. But in the times that a player disagreement or issue did pop up, whether it be on my end or another's, we would communicate it to one another privately in an attempt to sort out any grievances before bringing it up with the DM to arbitrate essentially if we couldn't come to an agreement.  8. How would you handle a situation where the DM makes a ruling you disagree with in the moment? I'd move on in the moment to keep the session flowing whilst marking it down for after session. Then, once the session concludes, I'd reflect upon the moment/ruling in question, and if it still was something I felt I disagreed with, I would ask privately one time for clarification. After receiving the DMs response to this inquiry, I'd accept their ruling and move on fully.  9. What do YOU want to get out of this DND game? Entertainment, work through an issue, friendship, a feeling of being a hero, lots of rp opportunities, etc. Don’t be afraid to elaborate. I'd love to just get lost in the world alongside my fellows and to make lasting memories with them. Whatever the task, whomever we meet, the experiences are what I am eager to see and live through.
1. First off, please introduce yourself. Please include what we are to call you, pronouns, age, and anything else you are willing to share about yourself in relevance pertaining to DND. My name is Eric, I go by 3RIC(still pronounced Eric) since I been in a few games that there was other Eric peoples(lol). He/Him, 45 years old. I been playing DND since around age 15-16, but also other game systems like Palladium books, Savage Worlds, Dungeon World, Vigilante City and others... 2. What's your preferred % of split interactions? Roleplay, Exploration, Combat. I guess I like well rounded numbers, so...33/33/33 that way its something for everyone in good amounts. 1% missing, I guess lets say 34 for Exploration. I was in a year long campaign of Rime of The Frost Maiden, there was some added stuff in the game and I came across a cursed gauntlet of Torm that was speaking to me and corrupting me in game.  I had to get to a location with or without the group and the group said no, and the Dm had me betray the group to go to this location alone but a group member joined me and we had to plan on how to take on the rest of the party.  It was kinda awkward time but I learned to do a bit of unplanned roleplaying which I was not that comfortable with but I mananged and learned a bit from it. 4. Roleplay Experiment: Your character needs a book in the possession of a local baron in order to save the life of a dear friend, and you need it by the end of tomorrow. How do you get that book within the two day period? Oh boy, hmmm...if the local baron is a good fellow, id ask for the book and even willing to pay for it. If he agrees but has a mission for me, I would gladly do it. As long as the book can be used immediately for my dear friend. If hes stingy, I think I would do a heist. maybe spike their food and drinks so they all got stomach aches and other unpleasantness so they would be less occupied and make the heist go smoother. This is something I would make sure nobody does any killing. unless its a evil baron.ha! 5. Is there anything you DO NOT want to see in your DND games? Any hard no’s in your games that may bring up traumas? (Example: Particular brutal descriptions, NPCs experiencing DV) **If this is something you would rather wait to share, that can be discussed at the second part of the application process** Im good with most things, but nothing to do with child abuse or murder.  No rapey stuff either.  6. Why do you play D&D? What do you enjoy the most? I play to get my mind off things, to take a break from reality and have fun.  What I enjoy most is the friends you make and working together to help one another out. 7. Have you ever had a problem with another player? How did you handle it? I dont think I ever had a problem, the group kinda works out when I game and never had any problem, but talking to one another during the game and see what people are up to via pm/texts and even a few minutes  before or after the game just saying hi and how things are going.  8. How would you handle a situation where the DM makes a ruling you disagree with in the moment? I would accept it.  and maybe ask after game the mechanics of it so I can understand it.  Sometimes you need to see things in other persons perspective.  And cooler heads and being patient is something I do well. 9. What do YOU want to get out of this DND game? Entertainment, work through an issue, friendship, a feeling of being a hero, lots of rp opportunities, etc. Don’t be afraid to elaborate. I guess, entertainment as always. Its good to talk to friends after a session about what happen in game. making new friends is always a bonus, as well as learning more of how to be a better roleplayer.
1. First off, please introduce yourself. Please include what we are to call you, pronouns, age, and anything else you are willing to share about yourself in relevance pertaining to DND. Hello! My name is Andrew and you are free to call me that, or by my user name CrackedCanuck, or just Cracked is a common one. I am 32, Male, He/him. I Played my first session of DnD 3.0 when I was 11 or 12 and have loved it since. I spent MANY years as a forever DM of 3.0, 3.5, (Briefly)4th, PF1, All Flesh Must Be Eaten, and the Fallout PnP, and have also played in a few other systems but I have been enjoying being a player more over the last couple years. I have never DM'd 5th but I am currently playing a Curse of Strahd campaign IRL, and played a couple homebrew 5theds as well. 2. What's your preferred % of split interactions? Roleplay, Exploration, Combat. I thoroughly enjoy both the roleplay aspects and the encounter aspects of TTRPGs so a healthy balance is preferred. probably 40% Combat, 35% Roleplay and 20% exploration makes the most sense if you are breaking it down by percentage of time playing. I could write a book here, Stories I love, there are hundreds, The Kingmaker RPG path from Pathfinder stands out as a story line that is VERY compelling for me, but instead I wish to tell you a more recent story. I would like to briefly share how our current Curse of Strahd party has taken to calling themselves the auto-defenestrators. Now if you are unfamiliar with the term defenestration, it is the act of throwing someone through a window. Currently every member of our party has thrown themselves through a window at least once, and been hurled through a window at least one other time. Party of 5, the broken window count is around 20. Some of these have been to leap through and chase down a fleeing enemy, some of these have been to escape traps, some of these have been because I was hit by a bolt of lighting and thrown out the window. Some of these were because half the party was down and we were stuck inside a burning mansion and we had to literally hurl ourselves and our unconscious comrades out a third story window to not burn alive. All in all I don't think I have gone through (with force) this many windows in all my previous combined campaigns. Thus we are, the auto-defenestrators. 4. Roleplay Experiment: Your character needs a book in the possession of a local baron in order to save the life of a dear friend, and you need it by the end of tomorrow. How do you get that book within the two day period? The most important thing here is to gather information quickly. Is the Baron a good and kind person who may be willing to offer it to us out of goodness? Can he be reasoned with and do we have anything of value to him to offer in exchange? Is he cruel and vile and will keep it from us if he knows we want it just so that he can cause us pain? Once we know about the man we can then decide the best way to obtain it. Do we approach and offer something with a plea for help? Do we perform a heist and take it from him unknown? Do we storm the door out of haste knowing it is our only option? Or on the other side, do we know someone skilled enough to bring our friend back another way? There are a thousand possible solutions to this puzzle and the situation and what our party is capable of will help us collectively decide the best course of action. 5. Is there anything you DO NOT want to see in your DND games? Any hard no’s in your games that may bring up traumas? (Example: Particular brutal descriptions, NPCs experiencing DV) **If this is something you would rather wait to share, that can be discussed at the second part of the application process** Things generally found in fantasy, sci-fi, or horror settings are all ok with me within reason. If we have a half hour description of every mutilated body as we go through a dungeon I would probably not like that. I don't like DM's that allow you to force other players to take actions with skill rolls. A couple others we can talk about if you are interested in meeting with me 6. Why do you play D&D? What do you enjoy the most? Because it is fun! Honestly isn't that why we all do it? I just enjoy the stories that you get out of them, the team buidling, the problem solving and just having a great time. 7. Have you ever had a problem with another player? How did you handle it? I think it is inevitable that you have some issues with players over 20 years of playing and DMing. Most incidents are minor and in most cases (especially because I usually DM) a quick private conversation is enough to have the other person keep what they are doing at the top of their mind so they can stop the offending action. 2 more severe examples I can give are: AS DM Had a friend who really wanted to join us, he came and spent the entire first 2 sessions on his phone. When it was his turn or if we looked to him for input he would set his phone down, and we would have to recap EVERYTHING that happened from the last time he took an action as he had paid ZERO attention. The first session I knew he had something going on so I let it slide. After the second session I talked to him, asked if he was having fun, asked if he knew that he was impacting the other players enjoyment, he said he was and he had no idea. 3rd session he was better, but not perfect, 4th session he went back to how he was for sessions 1 and 2. Had another talk with him and asked what I could do to engage him more and he admitted that he just felt like what he did didn't matter in the game, so we talked about what he wanted out of it and I told him that the game is built around that if you want to do something then DO IT, you get to make the decisions it isn't just dice and math. Next session he came he was engaged, and he started his own questline to go save his sister that the whole party was super stoked to support him, and even after that quest he remain engaged because he understood that his contributions to the story mattered and made it a more fun experience. He thanked me a few weeks after and said he had no idea what could be done as a player and was so amazed by how much you could influence the story. AS PLAYER We had another party member who was a die hard by the book, the rules are the rules and nothing else matters, except when it came to his stuff he would reference reddit posts and try to argue why his things should work certain ways. All he wanted to do was be the most powerful he could be in combat and nothing else mattered. We would spend 30 minutes on a single turn while he argued why something should work a certain way. We first talked to the DM, and asked him to speak with the player but nothing changed (DM was mostly trying to keep peace as we were all friends or at least knew eachother). We tried talking to him as well, but he would just get mad at us for trying to tell him how to play the game. Eventually it grew to a head and the DM warned us in confidence that the other player was making changes to his character for the soul purpose of being able to beat the party if we turned on him. Since me and one other player were the ones that hosted we simply decided that that person was no longer welcome to come to our house. Not an excellent end, but sometimes people just don't work in some groups, and that is OK and part of the TTRPG experience. The goal is the have a group that works well, and to do everything you can to make it work, but sometimes when someone is unwilling to compromise, a change needs to be made. 8. How would you handle a situation where the DM makes a ruling you disagree with in the moment? Depends on why. If I misunderstood something and the DM points out, you forgot about this, hell yea all fair I made a mistake and will do something else. If it seems arbitrary and it is something I REALLY want to do I will of course make a brief case of why it could work or if I can modify it to work, but if its still a no then we do something else and move on. No sense in getting hung up on the odd no, as long as the DM isn't an ass they probably are ruling that way for a reason and there are other people at the table. 9. What do YOU want to get out of this DND game? Entertainment, work through an issue, friendship, a feeling of being a hero, lots of rp opportunities, etc. Don’t be afraid to elaborate. I love TTRPGs.
