Welcome to the Arbour Coastline! Here you will take up the mantle of adventurers for hire. You will explore hidden tombs, dive into ancient crypts, and discover long-lost cities! Will you be one of the adventurers to rise to power and be a legend in the region for your deeds or will your desecrated corpse decorate a necromancer's courtyard? Premise: Good vs Evil The idea that all good is good and all evil is evil is a comforting thought. Dealing with the binary can be simplistic and if something sits outside one side or another, it is the opposition. Life however is messy and intent as well as results can paint someone with a simple brush stroke. Killing one to save a hundred might be seen as good but in the end, you still have stained your hands. Raising the dead to defend a village is still a blasphemous act in the church's eyes. It is here that things become complicated. Society dictates what is acceptable and what is outside the norm and is part of the chaos. Your character will find themselves standing in the gray and must pick a side to shape their own morals. Theme: Guts and Glory The world is a dangerous place, but it is littered with rewards for those who brave its perils. Those who choose the adventurer's lifestyle know this all too well. Exploration of the untamed wilds to find a forgotten old tomb is a common trope. Those with an adventurer's spirit know life is hard and fast. Preparation and exploration go hand in hand and if done properly will lead to a mountain of riches and an easier life in the future upon retirement. The game will likely be played on Fridays at 1600 EDT (GMT-4) for up to 4 hours but is up for debate/change. Apply here or contact me privately as I try to be actively involved with players that are interested.
