Player not showing up (and has logged into the campaign)

I saw an earlier thread with the same question/topic, but no absolute solution, and I am having the same problem. I'm logged in as GM: I cannot see the player who is logged in. A player is logged in and can see me as GM logged in. I'm not sure how to solve this or troubleshoot further. Thank you, A. Gamer

Hi A. Gamer! When you say you cannot see each other, could you elaborate? This could mean many things: You cannot see each other on Voice and Video? You cannot see each other as being logged in the avatar/nameplates of the player area at the bottom of the screen? You cannot see what each other has typed into chat? The first case has some basic troubleshooting steps. The other two sound like you are actually logged into two different games. Are there other players in the game with which you have this issue?
A. Gamer, Through a Problem with WebRTC Avatars are not always visible in game. Had the Problem myself (and have it from time to time). As a GM set the Chat-Tech to NONE and after that back to Integrated V&V or Legacy... Does it happen in Incognito, too? keithcurtis said: Hi A. Gamer! To both of you, thank you. I can only see my nameplate, and the other player can see both her nameplate and mine, and we are definitely logged into the same game (it's my training/test game to learn Roll20 design). TheMarkus: Thank you - a lot of terms I don't know yet, but will endeavor to find out what the they mean. Thank you, again.

Hi A. Gamer. This is not a problem I have seen reported before. There have been cases over the years where the player area thinks a player is still logged in and reports them as there when they are actually logged out, but I have never seen the opposite being reported. I suggest two course of action: 1) Since this is a test game, try creating a brand new game and see if the problem repeats. 2) If the problem does repeat, capture a Console Log ( Chrome , Firefox ) and file Help Center Request . This might require dev-level investigation.
I reported it via Helpcenter Ticket when I got it a few weeks ago... Sometimes it comes back and thus I need to switch Chat Tech in order to fix it... keithcurtis said: A. I opened a Thread in the Bug forums: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/11540335/no-avatar-with-integrated-v-and-v Happens seemingly at random AND as was told to me by the Roll20 Support (answer on my ticket) it is a problem with WebRTC. STRANGE thing I noticed in all campaigns it is happening: the new color picker next to the Avatars... Maybe it has something to do with that?
Thank you - strange. I created a new game and the problem does not reproduce. TheMarkus1204: I followed your link - again a new area for me: what the different chat options are in principle and practice ..... something else I need to learn. Thanks, Anchorite Gamer
