We are 2 very experienced role players, one of which is very experienced in 5e and the other is newer to it. We are available any day 8:30p.m EST - 2:00a.m EST except Sunday and Monday. We are looking for a long term campaign, we are okay with mature content. We would like to have a roleplay heavy campaign and like to keep the player group relatively small at max 4ish total players plus the DM. We are okay with Homebrew as long as its mostly simple like monsters, items ect. We are okay with joining an existing campaign as well if you already have a campaign running. Below are short player QA to see if we might be a good fit for you. :Kasvie Do you prefer RAW (Rules as Written) or the Rule of Cool (DM has discretion) in running the game?  RaW has it's place, RoC has its place as well. Both are equally good, and as usual, DM has final say! Compare your preference of roleplay versus battles (Ex. 80/20)? Which do you prefer and why?  Honestly, splits are silly to me, because every game has a different split. I like RP, I like Combat, but what I like most is when both of them mingle and make sense!  (A direct answer is probably 50-70% RP, and 30-50% Combat.) How would you describe your player style?  I, admittedly can't think of a short answer for this... I like fun? I'll try to do some Rule of Cool thing every now and then like, jumping a pit in the middle of a fight to surprise an enemy or, something of the sort. If it's fun I'll go for it! Do you have a favorite race or class to play?  I like Changeling a lot. The ability to turn into other NPC's or PC's leads to some GOOFY circumstances and just, generally cool stuff ( Imitated an evil Lord once and tricked a few guards into going on break). As for class, Warlock or Sorcerer, but I want to veer away from those classes and try Monk. Probably gonna try and play Changeling though anyways... How do you feel about homebrew player options (races, classes, spells, etc.)?  Love me some homebrew! I've made a few things myself. Do you prefer plot-driven campaigns or character-driven campaigns? Or... Both?  Yeah both is a vague but accurate answer unfortunately. What has been your favorite and least favorite things about role playing?  My answer too both is the people. There are good eggs, and bad eggs, and unfortunately sometimes the bad eggs look like good eggs on paper. What are your feelings on intra-party conflict? In-character?  Hell yes, gimmie that JUICY conflict. Out of character though, you bet your ass I'm going to ask the person to sit down and talk with me. We're all human, there's no reason we can't talk an issue through :) What do you absolutely not want in your games?  If two characters are banging, fade to black. Rape and the like. Just, generally NSFW acts (referencing tits and whatnot is w/e). :Kendyl Do you prefer RAW (Rules as Written) or the Rule of Cool (DM has discretion) in running the game?  RAW is the basis and has its spot but if it would be cool and the player has done the work ROC also has its place so long as its not abusing the system! Compare your preference of roleplay versus battles (Ex. 80/20)?   I lean more into rp but I do love a good combat, I like finding the AH HA moments. If I had to put a number down I would say 60ish 70ish % roleplay. How would you describe your player style?  I very much so get into my characters I like to be utility and helpful, I also take lots and lots of notes I even have spread sheets. I want to help everyone have the spotlight from time to time. Do you have a favorite race or class to play?  Changeling and Tiefling, I align with them personally due to them feeling like outsiders most of the time. As for class I am on a kick for druids right now because I feel they are very useful plus the cute wild shape moments because I love animals. How do you feel about homebrew player options (races, classes, spells, etc.)?  I very much so like them. I'm not super good at making them but I can enjoy a nice homebrew thing keeping me on my toes. Do you prefer plot-driven campaigns or character-driven campaigns?   Both, either one will work well for me. I don't like to sit still so I will be looking for the next thing quite often in roleplay. What has been your favorite and least favorite things about role playing?  I think just people. A lot of people want to be the "Main character" and it makes conflict. I just want to have fun and laugh about things. What are your feelings on intra-party conflict?  Oh yes. So long as its a consensual role play thing and not an OOC issue I love it. What do you absolutely not want in your games?  I'm pretty hard to upset, I would just say trying to force something that makes anyone uncomfortable you need to talk it out.  If we sound like a good fit for you feel free to reach out to us here, dm's, or via discord. firewatch__ kitsunekendyl
