Video/Player Avatar and microphone use issue

It would be great if your Video/player avatar showed when your doing voice only. When I am using a headset and only using audio my Avatar image goes to black. The image shows when I am not recieving/broadcasting audio. I am not using video and have " voice only " selected. For some reason this really annoys me. I Would really like to see my avatar image instead of a black box. I know its a small detail, but it would be really awesome if you could fix this! Thanks a lot! ~Squirrley

I've got a workaround for you on that, if you'd be interested in trying this. Your suggestion is still valid, this is just a third-party technique to achieve the end-goal of the appearance of your avatar in that position. I used to do this about a year ago on my Roll20 but my campaign styles changed and I don't run this currently on my games. This is the same technique for showing a still-image on your video feed if others are using webcams and you only want a JPG or PNG or GIF there.. Also the same technique for showing different Character pictures (changing emotion pictures, or different characters game to game) instead of always having 1 avatar constantly across all games. How to put a still image in your webcam feed: You can use the free programs: called CamTwist or ManyCam to "send an image" through your webcam feed. You would run the program, set the Avatar image in the program; tell the program to replace your webcam video feed with the selected image (constantly showing the picture as if it was a video). Then re-enable the video feed in Roll20.
Cool. I will try that out! Thanks!
