Name: Boss aka BossBedlam Age:   52 years old Discord Name: BossBedlam#1952 Pronouns:    He/him Tell me about a game you've played: Ulzzang, a formidable enforcer for the Full Moon Psychopaths, embarked on a harrowing journey in the Chronicles of Darkness campaign. Her unwavering sense of justice and ambition led her down a path fraught with danger and intrigue. As a master of deception and a skilled weapon wielder, Ulzzang's actions were marked by calculated decisions. One significant highlight was her confrontation with the Mask Man, an agent of the mysterious and enigmatic God-Machine. In a daring display of her combat prowess, Ulzzang dismembered the Mask Man, revealing her ruthless determination to eliminate threats to her cause. Delving into the depths of the Hyperion building, Ulzzang stumbled upon secret laboratories housing advanced technology far beyond her understanding. Her discovery of these cutting-edge innovations challenged her perception of reality and hinted at a greater cosmic scheme at play. A chilling encounter with an otherworldly automaton known as an Angel tested Ulzzang's mettle. Her instinct for self-preservation drove her to split from the group, leading her on a perilous escape route. Her actions exemplified her resourcefulness in navigating the unknown. However, her escape took an unexpected turn when Ulzzang found herself thrust into a parallel universe, days before her original timeline. Fueled by her determination to return home, she now faces the daunting task of unraveling the mysteries of this alternate reality and finding a way back to her universe, all while relying on her unique abilities and relentless drive. Ulzzang's journey in the Chronicles of Darkness campaign is a testament to her complex character, blending her adept combat skills with her shrewd intellect as she navigates through the twists and turns of a world where the boundaries of reality are blurred and the truth remains elusive. Favorite system: Chronicles of Darkness What do you want to do in the Apocalypse?: I'd like to play as a young adult character who is a jack of all trades and quick learner who would want to achieve several goals. 1. **Survival Mastery**: The ultimate goal is to survive and thrive in the harsh post-apocalyptic world. This includes finding food, water, and shelter, as well as learning to craft tools, weapons, and makeshift defenses. 2. **Community Building**: Establish or join a group of survivors to build a thriving community. Set up a secure base, recruit fellow survivors, and assign roles based on individual strengths and skills. 3. **Skill Diversification**: Since the character is a jack of all trades, the player can focus on acquiring a diverse set of skills. Mastering skills like scavenging, hunting, crafting, medical knowledge, and mechanical repair will be crucial for long-term survival. 4. **Exploration and Discovery**: Roam the post-apocalyptic landscape to uncover hidden locations, resources, and secrets. Exploration can lead to valuable discoveries, unique encounters, and potentially rare items or technology. 5. **Trade and Diplomacy**: Develop trading relationships with other survivor groups or settlements. Negotiate for resources, share knowledge, and establish alliances, or engage in rivalries and conflicts if necessary. 6. **Heroic Acts**: Embrace the role of a hero by helping others in need, saving captives, and rescuing survivors from dangerous situations. These actions could earn reputation and support within the world. 7. **Storyline and Quests**: Engage in a series of compelling story-driven quests that unfold as the character's skills and relationships develop. These quests can reveal the underlying causes of the apocalypse and provide a sense of purpose. 8. **Upgrade and Customization**: Enhance the character's abilities by finding or crafting equipment upgrades, such as better weapons, armor, and tools. Customization allows for tailoring the character's strengths to the player's preferred playstyle. 9. **Environmental Challenges**: Conquer environmental challenges, such as navigating through radioactive zones, surviving extreme weather conditions, and adapting to mutated creatures or dangerous flora. 10. **Evolving Adversaries**: Face increasingly challenging enemies and hostile factions as the character's reputation and influence grow. Adapt strategies and acquire new skills to overcome these threats. 11. **Technological Restoration**: Seek out and restore advanced technology, possibly aiding in the rebuilding of society. This could involve locating old databases, deciphering encrypted information, and reverse engineering salvaged devices. 12. **Moral Dilemmas**: Encounter moral dilemmas that force the character to make tough decisions, impacting the game world and its inhabitants. These choices can shape the narrative and the character's development. 13. **Endgame Aspirations**: Set long-term goals for the character, such as re-establishing communication networks, finding a cure for the apocalypse's cause, or building a vehicle to escape to safer lands. 14. **Character Growth and Relationships**: Witness the character's personal growth and development as they learn from experiences and interactions with other survivors. Forge deep connections or rivalries that influence the outcome of the story. By pursuing these goals, I hope to create a dynamic and exhilarating gaming experience in an apocalypse setting, leveraging my character's versatile skills and ability to adapt and learn.
Name: Artemis aka Sshado Age: 32 Discord Name: sshado Pronouns: they/them Tell me about a game you've played: Eliona Silveron, a priestess of the Lunar Goddess, met and helped a pair of spies for an enemy empire led by the high-elves. They left such a powerful impression upon her that she immediately packed up what she could carry on her back and began a week long trek to cross the highly contested borders and immigrate to the kingdom of the elves. These spies were part of a larger group, the Twin Tails Company, a band of independent mercenaries who lived a comfortable life in a communal camp a few miles from the nearest town. She was taken under their wing and found herself surrounded by friendship. There was a peace here Eliona had never experienced before in her life and it captivated her. She worked hard, earning the respect of the Company and becoming a permanent resident with them. She made lifelong friends, fell in love, and deepened her connection to her Goddess and the power granted to Eliona grew as a result. The Company would make a discovery which would be their unraveling in the end. The Vault of Aurbis, an ancient reliquary where the worst weapons and artifacts were stored by some far off civilization. The Twin Tails Company was caught up in a small war over the Vault and its leader, Khord, died in battle. Having lost her love, Eliona fell into the clutches of a Vampire who worked for the Company doing some of its dirtier work. She began a slow descent into dissociating with her own self, trying to fill an empty void that grew bigger every day. Eventually, she would part ways with the Company and seek out a humble life devoted to the Moon. Her tale is one of a joy-filled life cut brutally short with no ties to any place or identity for which Eliona could pick up the pieces and rebuild. This story played out over the course of a year and over a hundred sessions and left a long-lasting impression on me, something I am still wistful about to this day. I'll never forget those players. Favorite system: Chronicles of Darkness - God Machine What do you want to do in the Apocalypse?: I want to play a special forces character around 30 years old who is dedicated to mastering their understanding of the world. They would have a complex set of goals, motivations, and the mental impact of a hard life lived in the apocalypse. Community Building - Cultivate a group of survivors I am invested in as a character. Face Great Odds - Some main quest or story beat which give meaning and purpose to the universe, perhaps answers, or upends the world in some major way. Grow and Upgrade - I enjoy leveling up, upgrading gear, and generally advancing my character's power. Character Relationships - Opportunities for the character to grow personally and make connections with other survivors. Complex enemies are also of interest to me. Creative Combat - Creative usage of environments, makeshift combat tools, or problems with many different angles of attack are all exciting to me. Moral Choices - I want to encounter decisions with consequences that push me to explore my character's motivations deeply. Sometimes there isn't always a good answer to a bad situation, and you have to make decisions in the moment which can have long-term impacts. Technological Discovery - Encounter old technology or advance current technology, seek out the rebuilding of society and quality of life. This would be an important goal to my character. Long Term Goals - I like to have long term goals in mind for characters, something that both myself and the Storyteller know we aspire to.

I'm learning to lean into action; however, taking hours to get it done isn't appealing to me.  - Real consequences for actions. - Interesting ways to level up and build skills.

Name:  Mace Age:  24 Discord Name:  amnotelon Pronouns:   he/him Tell me about a game: you've played:  Sir Gaertwin The Noblest and his cannon toting half elephant "Extraordinaire". Has killed gods ,dragons, cults, and the occasional squid in his lifetime with many a fellow hero by his side, but no task was greater then spending 15,000 gold of his very limited funds to buy a wooden cart outbidding and showing up a goblin with +2 rabies and 7+ guns. So epic was this task it took a IRL 7 months to complete, leaving Gaertwin The Noblest to suffer the indignity of living in middle class squalor on two occasions. and only able to afford 3 resurrections for his half elephant while storming a fortified castle with artillery and gods inside. Favorite system: Pathfinder 2e What do you want to do in the Apocalypse?: Build A business of necessity like a aquaponics farm and using those resources to get others what they might need or want. Becoming someone of importance. Talking to others considered to be of importance as a equal. Being seen as someone others come to for business decisions and important matters. Occasionally being able to solve things without violence.
