New player looking for D&D 5E Group

Hi I am looking for a group to join. I have a flexible schedule. I have experience playing AD&D but not much in 5E. It's something I've been interested in trying for a while but have been unable to find a group. Thought why not try here.  All in all just looking for a group that is welcoming to new players that are willing to be patient when needed with me :). I'm 27 going on 28 and He/him 

Hey I'm about to start up a game, super easy going 27 yr old as well.  its a home brew based heavily on a youtube let's play, so I have structure to follow. This game has two players (A barbarian pugilist, and a Dwarven bodyguard wizard) I have yet to speak to as of yet but seem great (they just joined the discord group today). Last time I played or DM'ed was 7 years ago, so I'm shaking off the rust up my self.
