Ideally, when you create an outline for text, usually to make it more readable over a background, the outline only expands outward from the edge of the letters, not effecting the width of the original type. With the current text tool, the outline expands both outwards from the edge of the font, but also inwards, making the original text harder to read, not easier. This might be corrected by having the outline appear behind the base color and then thickening up the outline a bit more. Here's an example of what I'm saying: 1st line: White Text (hard to read on light backgrounds) 2nd line: White w/ black outline (easier to see, but not easier to read) 3rd line: White text w/ black outline behind (outline is very thin) 4th line: White text on top of Black text offset (drop shadow style would be a nice option) 5th line: This is more what I would expect from an outline.
