DnD 4e Adventure custom tailored to the party

I am currently working to DM a game. I have played in a group in college but am newer to the site. In any case I want some colorful characters to populate this journey and I want to make the world to accomodate your ideas. Now of course we'll have to find a good way to string together everyone's backstory and why you are together but give me a rundown of who you want to be in this adventure. We will wait to get at least the first chapter all put together and the characters all set before beginning this one so hit me up early to get your place in here. remember we want depth in the characters, not gamebreaking so if you want to be wizard with anxiety issues or the warrior escaping a dark past come on in. I really want the emphasis to be on the roleplay as I think that is what many of us are here for. Also, bear with me while i figure out the technology. we will work with everyone to find a good common time for all and I hope to see you on the other side!

I would like to meet weekly and we can get times hammered out with each of you. send me a description of the character you want, no need to worry about stats yet just who are you going to be, like class, race, personality, and if you want me to try to incorporate you backstory that is fine as well or it can just be fleshed out as we go. we will be using the dnd 4th edition system however i disagree with their trimming down of the alignments so all 9 are available. I would like everyone to be of a similar one but there are interesting ways to make them mesh. also in your message if you could include your preferred time and day of the week for play that way we can find a common ground that would be nice. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hey I would love to join this game. My character idea is a sharda-kai revenant assassin who is bound to the raven queen to kill her enemies and to find his ex lover who killed him in the first place. He would be the one-liner type of guy and would try not to always go to violence. He would be lawful neutral by alignment as well. I myself would be available Monday thru Wednesday at the moment.

Hello there all! Sorry i have been busy and haven't had the chance to get on. I am on Pacific Standard Time and we will now start getting schedule detailed for everyone. The first chapter has been written and is all ready for our first session. I have general ideas from there where we will go but I want to base the story more around your actions and choices so don't expect me to keep you to a very linear path. I very much enjoy the thought you have all put into your characters and cannot wait to see them in action! I would prefer us to start in the next two to three weeks so see you soon! Also we will likely be using an external voice program such as skype (Thanks for reminding me Herbert) so just a heads up. If there are any issues with skype specifically we can use teamspeak.

Hey, this all sounds good and I'd be interested in joining if you guys plan on starting anytime soon (more like a week instead of almost a month). If that isn't possible then I'll look elsewhere, otherwise I'll provide possible characters (depending on what role you need me to play as) and can whip up a backstory if need be.
