Experienced Player looking for long term consistent group

Hey y'all, I've been playing TTRPGs since D&D3e came out in 2000 as both a player and a DM. Over the course of my TTRPG history I've been lucky enough to participate in a number of year long and longer campaigns as both a player and DM and am looking to plug in with a great group of people. I'm most experienced with D&D3e, D&D5e, and Pathfinder v1. but would be willing to learn a new system. I recently moved across the country and left behind a great group of friends and TTRPG party members and although we played for a while on Roll20, it just became too much for a few of them and our game fizzled.  As a player I'm very story driven, character creation is something I really enjoy and I like creating characters with rich backstories and clear motivations. I'm very flexible and have played almost every class and a number of different races, so I feel I can slot in well. I tend to be very team focused as a player as I feel too much tension in a party often derails games. Collaborative storytelling is very important to me and one of the reasons I love TTRPGs so I'm looking to connect with others who feel the same. I currently have time to play every other week, Fridays and Saturdays are almost completely free for me with the exception of some events and family obligations and I could potentially make Sunday late afternoon/evening work as well. I'm located in MT but have flexibility and am willing to play with people from other time zones. Here are a few character concepts I have played in the past as examples: Tibor - Tortle, Fighter, Echo Knight | Tibor trained as an echo knight with his mentor before leaving his side to go out and explore the wild world. Tortles are known for their desire to explore and learn prior to settling down with a mate and Tibor is no exception.  Khos-Vutha - Lizard Folk, Druid, Circle of the Wildfire | Khos-Vutha was the apprentice to the shaman in her tribe and was well on her way to establishing and leading her own tribe until a band of poachers stole into their village and abducted their clutch of eggs. Despite the village shaman proclaiming that it was the will of the gods, Khos could not abide the thought and has come hunting the poachers. Ehrteelan "Teel" Morningdew - Eladrin (Spring), Warlock, Celestial | Ehrteelan, Teel to everyone who knows him, grew tired of the frivolous and repetitive life of the Spring Court and set out to explore the world. He has a strong desire to enjoy life, see an d experience a number of great new things, and hopes to do some good along the way.
The backstory for Ehrteelan Morningdew feels like it could potentially fit rather well into one of the campaigns I'm currently in. That said, I'm guessing based on your post that Weekly Tuesday sessions at 3PM Eastern Time wouldn't work? The DM and some of the players live several hours ahead, which is why the session time is a bit on the early side.
Yeah, unfortunately that would be 1PM Tuesday here for me and I'll be at work. Because of my schedule I'm basically a weekend warrior at this point. Let me know if anything changes and y'all switch times.
Henlo! I've got a game looking for some players! I and my group thought your post seemed interesting! Are you still looking for a group to play with? We play on Saturdays, bi-weekly. 1300 MST/1500 EST. Sessions go for about 4 hours on average, with the occasional shorter/longer ones. Current group size is 2 players plus DM, we're looking to gather 4-5 players that are as passionate about DND and storytelling as we are! Give me a shout if it seems interesting!
