[LFP] Long Time GM Hosting Custom System, One Shot Fun

I have a thousand hours of GMing on this platform mostly hosting DnD and Pathfinder and at least as many more outside this platform. I've spent the last couple of years testing all sorts of different gameplay elements inspired from all over in a custom system. I'm at a point where I've gotten it 90% nailed down and am looking for people outside my friend group to try it with. Plan is to run it Saturday night but I'm flexible. The story however, always comes first. If you're looking for a game where you just want to dive in, be immersed and have a chill good time I've prepared a detailed fantasy world and I am adept at making it respond accordingly to any kind of character concept or wicked drama that may be wrought upon it. This game is intended to go on for 1-3 sessions but we'll see what happens. NO PREP OR LEARNING THE RULES REQUIRED JUST SHOW UP Read the game description (I'll copy paste it into a reply on this post since I can't link it), show up on the day and the character creation should be done for everyone within an hour (even with no TTRPG experience at all). And of course contact me to let me know you're interested and ask any questions. I'll be bringing along one friend of mine already. Thanks for considering!
(copy pasted game description) Raincaller You're a group of friends simply trying to subside in the desert. When the priests decide to cease the Raincall, you take matters into your own hands- participating in or dismantling injustices along the way. What Sort of Game is This? A unforgiving low-magic fantasy adventure set in a desolate and alien desert environment and the cultures it's spawned. Watch your characters traipse across the wasteland from adobe huts to chrome palaces and rock carved spiral fortresses, confronting issues such as survival, disease, addiction, slavery, cults and general human and inhuman unpleasantness. The world is seeped in mystery and backstory, uncover it all and become part of it! (living or otherwise) You start as small business owners and dwellers in a desert village. The Elders of Woon make the rain come but they have been refusing to help any one any more. Uprisings stir, power is abused and starvation creeps across the land. Insanity begins to unfold around you and compel you to act or perish. The story starts with thugs showing up at your door during dinner, the chaos outside trickling and then pouring into your peaceful lives. Who's Hosting This? I hosted DnD and Pathfinder on this platform every 1-2 weeks between around 2016-2018 being known for the massive effort, scope, homebrew and artistic affinity poured into my games immediately turning random strangers into a loyal group of players across 2 large campaigns. Most notably, I never ever say no to my players (unless they are disturbing the peace OOC). Attempt anything! Discover something! Murder everything! Spread love, hate, greed or anything you can think of! ...Just not without appropriate consequences. Also, I do the funny voices and really step into my role as the world itself, vividly describing every scene and easily improvising massive amounts of player-driven content while remaining consistent with the world and story. You'll be hard-pressed to tell if I made everything up on the spot or it was all planned. I challenge you to catch me off guard with whatever gimmicky antics or drama you can think of! ...What's The Catch? After years of DnD obsession, friends urged me look into other gameplay systems. "Why would I do that? DnD just works?? It's cool. It's so good!" It isn't. I tried running an Open Quest game- the combination of freedom and simplicity it offered was interesting and I was hooked. I dove into the guts of many systems- GURPS, CoC, Burning Wheel, Paranoia... As a game master who poured so much heart and effort into games, the more I read the more I felt the need to prevent the system from standing in the way of fun and immersion. I took it into my own hands and have been endlessly experimenting how to represent a character on paper and play them in a setting and have fun. I haven't been on this platform in years, instead playing with friends in real life or on other platforms. After these years, my system is nearing a smoothly playable state. I'm eager to put that into practice outside of my relative echo chamber of friends, but most importantly have some fun in my favourite format of gaming! (it's hard to get the gang together regularly) No experience or reading of rules required This system has been designed to be easily digestible, using only the character sheet as reference for the most part. It can be easily explained as we go along. That being said, here's a link to the current ruleset: https://www.bixkitts.de/http_share/d100ruleset.pdf (not yet complete, that's why we're playtesting)
