Improve the Forum Search feature! This feature improvement request may already exist within this forum, but the current Forum Search capability is extremely basic and I couldn't "easily" locate an entry that matches this request.  The Forum Search feature needs to be improved for all forums and subtopics to include: Advanced search capabilities (regex, tags, google-type keyword inclusion/exclusions) Change Sort criteria (Relevance, Date, Author, Views, User ...) Date Range Filter Include the number of pages and/or items returned in the search I know there is a Google Hack that lets you do some of this, but it should be built in. I'm sure there exists off-the-shelf public domain code/web objects you could easily code.  My guess is that porting the existing forum content may be the most difficult task.

Yes, please. Unless you're looking for a module that just came out, the search function is completely useless in the LFG forums. Not to mention that the HTML code that it adds doesn't work. For instance, when I do a search for "token library", I get this response: It would be great if you could move <b>token</b> markers around within the <b>library.</b> No, that's not formatting which is in the original post. Those are non-functioning tags which the Search function added .
Doing a search for an older module in the LFG: Free Games section and the top 50 or so being 3-8 years old and paid is kind of useless. Would love to see this but given it’s history, I won’t be getting my hopes up.
The small bit of good news though, it finally hit over 10 simultaneous votes, so this idea that has been kicked around for the last decade, by many a user, won’t be auto shutdown after 30 days.
Yes, please. Searching to leverage community answers is self-service 101. On this forum, I do find results, but there's no way to tell how old the post is until I open it. The answer is usually so old it's irrelevant. We can do better!
