Polygon line not working?

It always worked fine but like a month ago it just stopped working properly, i click the classic first dot appears and then it doesnt follow the other click, the dot just keeps dissapearing, at some point i worked around it by reloading the page and not touching everything except the polygon tool but it doesnt work anymore, also nothing like this appears on google, someone has an idea?

The icons have changed a bit, that sounds like the behavior of the freehand tool. Can you verify you have the right tool?

I found the problem, it was an error with the old ui, i dont really like the new one so i was sticking with the old one and seems like it just didnt work, when i switched to the new one it started working again

I just switched back to the old UI and could not replicate. Are you using a pointing device other than a mouse? It might be a hardware incompatibility?
