Hello everynyan! I am a DM with around 2 years of experience who's looking to try out a gritty-ish low-magic setting for the first time. I currently have 3 players on board and just need one more player to start session zero! We're hoping to play every week on Sunday, 12PM CST. We want people who are willing to play in a more gritty game with plenty of darker tones. We will be chatting over Discord and using Roll20 to play the actual game Setting! The setting of this world is one where magic is mostly gone and only used by those of higher power. The major population of this world lives on a floating artificial planet orbiting a lower planet. The whole upper planet is almost covered in one mega city called "Zenith". The technology there is close to ours of modern day but with a few sci-fi quality of life things. The architecture remains mostly that of medieval times but with a sci-fi/futuristic slight rework. Poverty runs rampant here, with most of the population living in one giant slum city where crime runs rampant. The only magic left in this realm remains in people with great knowledge of the magic arts or people gifted with magic powers. Racism runs rampant in this world and any race that people deem "Not human enough" are sent to work forced jobs in the military or factory jobs. And even some races were banished down to the savage lands of the below world. Led to several almost animalistic tribes of varying races down there. Contact me!!
