Anyway to see player's whispers to each other as a GM?

Player character whispers, and not player whispers, since those are used in roleplay and in game to share private stuff, it saves me time by not asking the players for a transcript

Whomever has been given control of a character will also see the whispers to that character. If the GM has also been assigned permission, they will see whispers to that character just like they were a player. Side note; there is a language trick where you create a character with the name of an in-game language ie "elvish" Anyone that can control "elvish" can hear whispers sent to/in "elvish".

The character's sheets permissions are assigned to the GM and the player and still I can't see the whispers, ofc I can send whispers as that character.

Sorry Roded, I must be mistaken on the GM's ability of getting whispers between players. I assume whispers/notes between players on the vtt is the same as real-life at the table. Curious if these show up in the chat archive...?

Actually, this should work according to the wiki Note: Whispering to a Character will send the message to all Players listed in the controlled by field, which may include the GM. This fact is often used to make an "in-character language" Character for Campaign setting languages like Elvish, Dwarven, Orcish, etc. The "Language-character" can then be whispered to for only Players who have Characters that understand that language. https://wiki.roll20.net/Text_Chat#Whispers_.28.2Fw.29 Maybe somethings changed?

You can whisper to a player, or you can whisper to their character. Whispers to a character should be delivered to everyone that has been assigned control of that character. Note: GMs may have access to characters and pseudo-control, but that does not actually put them in control for the purposes of whispering. The GM must be assigned specific control. My guess, you haven't assigned yourself control of the character, or the player was whispering to the player and not the character.
Sorry for the late reply, was busy and couldn't get back to my post, I have control over all the character sheets and I can talk and whisper as the character in the chat however, if the other player whispers, I can't see it. Here's my settings for one of the characters: This is how it shows in the token:

Hi Roded. I just did a quick test; logged in as the GM, I'm able to see whispers sent from a player to any character that I can edit/control. I assume player to player whispers would be hidden, so I did not test that. You might want to submit something to the roll20 help desk .

Right, I think I have made things confusing so thats my mistake, Im deeply sorry, I did not mean player whispers but, character to character whispers, that's the problem Im having. If that's what you meant and tested, then I'll just have to contact help desk to see what's exactly wrong with my instance
