Looking for DM

Hey all. We’re a group of experienced players looking for a DM to run a game on Saturday or Wednesday evenings. A bit about us:  We are a group that loves to get invested in deep world lore. We love a good mix of roleplay, combat, and exploration. We do have a particular love for roleplay, but are no slouches when it comes to puzzles and tough combat encounters. We make deep characters with in-depth relationships, and expect our DM to at least humor us in this regard. The bigger your lore book, the better (but don’t be afraid to use a premade setting, we love those too!) Most importantly, we are eager and ready to work actively with our DM to craft an awesome story, and aren’t looking for a player vs DM mentality. Don’t go easy on us, but don’t try at all times to murder us either.  We do have some requirements we’d like to put out there, both for our comfort and yours. They are as follows: -Be able to run a game on Saturdays with a  7pm PST start time. We know this is late, and we aren’t enthused about it either, but that is the time we all can currently meet. If a schedule change becomes available, we’re more than happy to take it. We do potentially have a block available on Wednesdays at 5pm PST, and are willing to discuss which is best for all of us. -We are a group that are collectively over the age of 21, so we’d like our DM to be at least 21 as well. -We’d appreciate a DM that is comfortable with homebrew. We aren’t planning to meta-build your fights or anything, but our creativity does sometimes reach beyond what is in the books. This will vary depending on our familiarity with the system. -We would like maps for fights. They can absolutely be crude and quick if you’d like, but some of us fare much better with a visual aid in combat.  -Finally, we love big explorable worlds that we can really sink our teeth into. Not as much a requirement as a preference. We’ve come up with a list of systems and settings that we’d be interested in playing this time around. Here they are, in no particular order: Systems: 5e or 5e-like, or a general D20 system D6 pool system like Shadowrun Settings -Typical high fantasy/traditional 5e setting -Sci fi/Star Wars 5e/Starfinder -Wild west/cowboy -Urban fantasy -Naval/Pirate game (either sci fi or fantasy) -Cyberpunk/Shadowrun Thank you so much for reading. Please reach out if you think you’d be a good fit, we’d love to have a chat about your ideas and visions. Either way, we really appreciate your time, and look forward to hearing from you!
Hi; &nbsp; &nbsp; We might be a good fit for each other.&nbsp; &nbsp;7PM PST shouldn't be a problem for me on Saturdays, as I currently have Saturdays free right now.&nbsp; You stated you like deep immersive role play with combat and such.&nbsp; My background that helps me bring something extra to the mix&nbsp; is history (particularly the ancients and the middle ages), and theater.&nbsp; I did one act plays for Forensics in High School, and did Theater in College and Dinner Theater after.&nbsp; I can do a lot of accents and to the NPC "voices" and have quite a lot of characters in my head.&nbsp; &nbsp;I also do most of my own maps using Campaign Cartographer 3+ (<a href="https://www.pinterest.com/arillion1/arillions-cc3%2B-maps/" rel="nofollow">https://www.pinterest.com/arillion1/arillions-cc3%2B-maps/</a>).&nbsp; &nbsp; And am very proficient with Roll20, and have a Pro Account.&nbsp; I've been DM'ing it seems forever, and I've been running 5E slots at gamedays, several conventions, and also the online game here and there as well as Two Campaigns.&nbsp; For a Campaign, my favorite that is role playing immersive and that has a very unique flavor is with the Harn system from Columbia Games.&nbsp; They are the most detailed the thorough that I've ever seen.&nbsp; They've been putting stuff out since the 1980's and they are still putting stuff out.&nbsp; I own quite a lot of it, and those of my players who have played in it have said it&nbsp; is the best campaign they ever played in.&nbsp; &nbsp; But I'm also versed on several other potential campaigns, from easy and laid back casual to harried and hard.&nbsp; Let me know if you think we might be a good fit.
i’ve been kind of itching this year to get a old west call of Cthulhu thing going if that’s interesting to you all.
