New player...Hello.

I have resonantly got into d&d and saw some streams of this website and it looks like you can play fun games without having anyone close by in the neighborhood, I am new to the D&D and would really like to learn how to play and play some fun games on here.

Hi Turbo. Welcome to the community One of our wonderful Mods (Kristen C I believe) made a series of videos for new members. This wiki page contains lots of useful information and videos for people new to the hobby. She also made a wiki page that contains most if not all the basic how-to do information for this site. You can find a wide variety of roll20 game videos on youtube and twitchtv also. Happy gaming and good luck. Pat

Welcome to Roll20! Pat's links are a good place to get started (especially the crash course tutorials!), and you'll find a lot of other useful information in the Roll20 wiki too. Kristin's new Introduction to Tabletop RPGs video series (Pat's first link) might be very hand as a place to start. It does a great job of talking about the hobby, what kind of games are out there, and even advice on how to find a group to play with. There are many, many more types of games than just D&D, so it might be worth taking a look to see if that's where you want to start or if there might be a different system or setting that would be fun for you.
