Does Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage have a map of Waterdeep?

I just purchased Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage to add to my existing game. I added the Map and deck add to the game, but I can't find a map of Waterdeep. I play in another campaign on Roll20 that is Mad Mage and there's a high quality version of the Waterdeep map there, but I can't find one in the version I bought. Did they take it out? Am I missing something?

I don't own that bundle myself, but if there's a map of Waterdeep it's possible that it is in the module , not in the add-on.  If that's the case, try creating a new game with the DotMM module and see if it's included there.  If it is, then you can easily use the Transmogrifier (Pro subscription) to move it to other games; otherwise (since you don't have a Pro sub) you can select the map image, press 'Z' to view it 'fullsize', then right click and save it, and recreate that map on your current game.
Tried that. No Waterdeep map there. It had all the maps of the floors of the dungeon, but that's all. I did check the source book on dndbeyond and there's no map on there, but there is one for Dragon Heist, but I had the same problems when I tried that as well. And I could only add a season, not just the whole thing
Ah well if it's not included in the base module or add-ons, and it's not on D&D Beyond then it's likely that the GM in your other campaign has found a high-quality 3rd-party map somewhere else.  You'd have to ask them where they got it from.
I hate that you can't see what's in the module before purchase.

Hi Andy! Here are some answers! :) The map for Waterdeep is included in Waterdeep: Dragonheist (as you discovered). The Waterdeep map was not included in the print version of DotMM, so could not be included in the Roll20 module. If you own both products, it can be transmogrified in. Waterdeep Dragonheist was split up into a base module for the first half, and addons for the season chosen in the second half. Since there is a lot of repeated material presented out of order, and since the base module is fairly large to begin with, this hybrid approach ensures a smoother play experience. It is not recommended to add all addons, as much of it is redundant and and can create issues with overwritten sheets and tokens.  It is never a good idea to purchase a map and card deck addon pack separately from the module. Those elements are already in the module. Those addons are provided for people who only want the assets, and not the adventure. Trying to load one into the other can lead to the same issues mentioned above. These warnings are mentioned in the product descriptions, but those can be lengthy and it's likely you missed them. Finally, if for any reason you purchase a module and are not satisfied with what it contains, you have a reasonable return window. Roll20 is pretty lenient with its return policy.
Are you looking for this map? As KetihCurtis mentioned, it looks like that is included in the Dragon Heist&nbsp;module.&nbsp; You can see it listed in the Module description: <a href="https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/bundle/3825/waterdeep-dragon-heist/" rel="nofollow">https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/bundle/3825/waterdeep-dragon-heist/</a> But I agree that it would be really nice to have small screenshots of each page/map that is included in modules prior to purchase, the same way you can see individual assets included on Art AddOns.

Hi Andy! The map is part of the base game, not the addons used for second half content. You cannot add a module to an existing game, only addons. The typical process to add it to an existing game is to create a base game for Waterdeep: Dragon Heist and use the Transmogrifier to move the map page into your existing game. Since you are on a plus account, this may prove to be difficult. Transmogrifier and Mod script automation are the two main reasons for using a Pro account. Moving a page like this on a Plus account can be done, but it's a laborious matter of downloading and re-uploading art pieces. It's probably worth your time to upgrade for a month than to go through that. The biggest danger is that you will start using the Transmogrifier and Mod scripts, see how cool and useful they are and not be willing to go back. I've looked on the marketplace and there is a map addon for Mad Mage, but not Dragonheist. The maps for the former were far more complicated, which is why they were likely given this treatment. All that being said, if you just want a map of Waterdeep on a page, and aren't concerned with the Roll20 enhancements (efficient slicing into sub graphics for better loading, labels broken out onto GM layer, scale properly configured), you can probably find a reasonable image through a google image search.

Have you tried creating a new game with the Dragon Heist module as the base game, then seeing if the map is included on one of the page tabs in the game?
