Greetings! We're a group of approximately four friends, on the hunt for a DM for a tabletop adventure centered around a modern-day zombie apocalypse!! We've been diligently searching for a suitable tabletop game that can harmonize with our busy schedules. Our preferred gaming slot is on Fridays, with any time after 6:30 PM CST being the only feasible option for us due to our schedules. It's important to mention that all of us in the group identify as LGBTQ+, which means we have absolutely no tolerance for any form of discrimination, be it homophobia, sexism, racism, or the like. We come to the table with experience in various tabletop systems and are quite adaptable when it comes to choosing a system. Roleplay is a cornerstone of our gaming style, especially with artists in the party, and while we don't shy away from combat, we lean more towards games that integrate substantial roleplaying opportunities rather than being heavily combat-oriented. We also note that we don't prefer the "Theater of the Mind" style of gameplay, as we have great enjoyment from using tokens and visuals to vividly depict NPCs and the game world. Within our group, we currently have a few college students and two artists, with most of us boasting 5+ years of tabletop experience. In terms of systems, we're considering diving into GURPS for a zombie survival experience, but we're open to exploring other systems that the GM may find suitable. (Please feel free to suggest any other game systems!!) If the zombie-themed game doesn't come, we are also open to taking on a standard D&D 5e adventure. If you're a GM who aligns with our preferences and can work within our schedule, we'd love to hear from you!
