[ONLINE][FRIDAYS] FULL PARTY LOOKING FOR DM - MODERN ZOMBIE APOC

Greetings! We're a group of approximately four friends, on the hunt for a DM for a tabletop adventure centered around a modern-day zombie apocalypse!! We've been diligently searching for a suitable tabletop game that can harmonize with our busy schedules. Our preferred gaming slot is on Fridays, with any time after 6:30 PM CST being the only feasible option for us due to our schedules. It's important to mention that all of us in the group identify as LGBTQ+, which means we have absolutely no tolerance for any form of discrimination, be it homophobia, sexism, racism, or the like. We come to the table with experience in various tabletop systems and are quite adaptable when it comes to choosing a system. Roleplay is a cornerstone of our gaming style, especially with artists in the party, and while we don't shy away from combat, we lean more towards games that integrate substantial roleplaying opportunities rather than being heavily combat-oriented. We also note that we don't prefer the "Theater of the Mind" style of gameplay, as we have great enjoyment from using tokens and visuals to vividly depict NPCs and the game world. Within our group, we currently have a few college students and two artists, with most of us boasting 5+ years of tabletop experience. In terms of systems, we're considering diving into GURPS for a zombie survival experience, but we're open to exploring other systems that the GM may find suitable. (Please feel free to suggest any other game systems!!) If the zombie-themed game doesn't come, we are also open to taking on a standard D&D 5e adventure. If you're a GM who aligns with our preferences and can work within our schedule, we'd love to hear from you!
Hi Marisa , I have my own gaming system called firewinds of the suns, i usually play a space western but it can be played as a modern theme too, and i would love to gm a zombie themed game for your group , i watched a bit of last of us , walking dead, zombieland , and the 90s night of the living dead. I am a winter gamer (i garden in the summer and enjoy the outdoors) . Last year i recorded and animated one of my roll20 games on youtube, you can watch it here, https://youtu.be/rM5OBMmKVX8?si=bR3HcwljBC_KZTu3 if you would like to see my GM style . I played live with friends for 6 years and then 3 on roll20. I would like to record a more cooperative artist game where the players all draw their own characters and some of the NPCs, this would be black and white cartoon styles sketches (ie; dilbert , farside, hagard the horrible, simple anime) so not a high level of detail would be required but each player would need to draw 5-10 images per session of their character plus weapons or few npcs. We would use discord to do voice (players need a mic that works well) and share the drawn images during and after the game ( homework), having a scanner is prefered but you can take a picture of artwork with a phone if you have too . the backgrounds will just be photographs and the roll20 screen. my game system has easy to use macro buttons that i coded on roll20 so we can do a session to set up characters and talk about a story type, and i can explain the gaming system that is designed to be fair and simple to use, i am cool with LGBT players but i dont roleplay sex scenes and just do more "cut to " scenes like tv series do. i understand not all players want to be recorded so talk to your group and see if they would be interested and we can all chat on discord and see if we could all work together. i have been looking for a group to do this with that are all friends and somewhat experienced players because i think gaming with strangers does not leave the same level of caring about your teammates as a group that cares about each other more than themselves. i like combat and roleplay but really i like players to handle most of the roleplay with eachother as its not just the GMs job to start and create roleplay. message me if you are interested
