Custom character sheets

I have a lot of old roleplaying games that are not included as template options.  If I wanted to play these games with friends online, I cannot.  Is there a way for GMs to create custom character sheet templates?  Or will there ever be an option to?  Thank you.

GMs with a pro subscription can create character sheets, but it's not easy - requiring knowledge in HTML, CSS, and sometimes Javascript, and a lot of time.

However, you don't have to use character sheets. Check out the Attributes & Abilities tab. There was a time on Roll20 before character sheets were introduced, and we'd create Attributes for stats, and Anbilities for rolls. You can still do that. It won't be pretty but it's possible.

Hi Kenny9205,

To elaborate on GiGs statement, before character sheets (and still in some cases) I would use a character sheet in PDF or paper form.
Next, I would create a baseline character in Roll20 and create all the Attributes I will need for macros. I then make all the macros I will need (usually as Ability macros) for the rolls. I duplicate that character as needed for my players and then set up the numbers on a per-character basis.

When leveling up, I level up the character sheet (pdf or paper) then make the proper adjustments for the attributes in Roll20.

Just about any game is playable this way.

Thank you both.  That helps a lot.
