Roll20 on tablet bugs

I'm using Google Chrome 26.0.1410.58 on a Galaxy Note 10.1 and I'm getting the following problems as both a gm and player: - I can't pan with the two finger method or with the pan tool. - Clicking and holding a token doesn't display a menu and pings the top left corner of the screen - Sidebar doesn't hide in portrait mode - I can't change my level of zoom To me it seems like I'm in desktop mode but the desktop site option isn't checked. Is there a mobile url I should be using?
Hmmm... no, it sounds like you're doing everything properly. I'll try looking into it on my Nexus 7.
Thanks Riley. I downgraded my chrome back to version 25 which restored panning at least. It's possible that Chrome depreciated some functions you were using in their latest updates. If you like I can try version 18 of Chrome and see if that gives more success?
For more of the same on various Andoid devices see https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/103155/zoom-tool-problem-on-android-tablet#post-103155
Also noted that if I pinged on my laptop, my players who were using the tablet as a battle map couldn't see the ping at all.
Getting the following error when trying to log onto a campaign on my iPad: NoMethodError: undefined method `split' for nil:NilClass
I'm still getting the same error when I try to "Launch Campaign" I'm using iOS 6.1.3 and Chrome 26.0.1410.50
Have you tried downgrading your chrome version? That fixed a few bugs for me.
Murgh - you cannot use Chrome on iOS. You have to use Safari.
I'm getting all the issues listed in the original post on a stock nexus 7 using jellybean 4.2.2 and the stock chrome browser (same version as original poster). Interestingly, if I use Firefox for android the zoom selector works, and single tap and hold does allow you to pan the screen in pointer mode (although it also selects various elements on the screen and copies them to clip board as well). Unfortunately, dragging a token in Firefox is unbearably laggy. I understand that tablet support is a bit of a beta thing at the moment, and that the developers haven't got the resources to make this a full time project, but you might want to put some health warning on the mobile support page. I paid a subscription to be a supporter on the strength of what the mobile support page said was possible. As it stands roll20 is simply not usable on a nexus 7 at this moment in time. I should say that I don't begrudge paying to support this project, as I think it has great potential, I'm just saying you need to make sure people aren't misled. Is there any indication of how long it might take to have a look at these issues?
Chrome crashes my Nexus 10. Mobile firefox support would be nice, but currently "dragging a token in Firefox is unbearably laggy." for me as well.
I'm having some similar issues with my Nexus 10. I was hoping to use it as the GM as I have a group that is a mix of online and in house players. I would use the table for revealing maps and moving tokens during game but desktop for all the before game setup. - None of the View tools work, I can reset the fog of war but not use any of the other tools. -Is there a way to delete drawings when GMing from table? I seem to be able to select them but not do anything with them (no resize or rotation, for example). I can delete all but removing individual ones would be great. -The measuring stick, point arrow tool does not work. -I am also experiencing the same issue described above with the 'right click' function. When I try it just pings in the top left corner of the screen and does not display the menu. -the Text and Shape tools do not work, but the Freehand tool does. Also, before I realized I needed to update Chrome (I was on ver. 18) the 'two finger scroll' worked. I upgraded Chrome to 27.0.1453.90 and this no longer works. Edit: saw this is listed as a known bug till 28, sorry.
Am I the only tablet user that is unable to use the fog tools? I am now able to bring up the token 'right click' menu but am still experiancing the other issues.

No you're not the only one but then again I just tested things out again with my phone and some of the features worked, others didn't including the fog tools.
