Rifts: Against A.R.C.H.I.E.

You are members of the organization called the Republicans. The goal of this organization is to defeat A.R.C.H.I.E. and awaken an army of NEMA troopers.   ----- **Day & time:** Saturdays at 10pm US Eastern, weekly **Platforms:** Roll20 & Discord **Hopeful start date:** November 18th ----- The idea is pretty straight forwards but the campaign will be difficult. Plenty of covert operations and espionage tactics. This game isn't for new players. Knowledge of the Republicans, NEMA and ARCHIE a plus. If interested, PM me with an O.C.C./R.C.C. in mind and short background. Also, any house rule you've have used in the past or like to see. I'm open to questions on this thread or PMs.
Sounds interesting!  I'm familiar with A.R.C.H.I.E., but I don't know anything about the Republicans.  However, I do have the resources that contain information about them, so I'll read up on them. I'm a very experienced Rifts player, and I've played a large array of characters.  Which O.C.C.'s are allowed, and which are off limits?  Or will I know that after reading about the Republicans?
Interesting. My Saturdays just freed up. What OCC RCC?

Samuel Winters, known on the streets of Haven City as "Cyberstrike," was born into the heart of the outer districts. Growing up in the shadow of towering factories, he witnessed firsthand the struggles and injustices faced by the forgotten masses. Samuel's natural leadership qualities emerged early on, as he became a beacon of hope and guidance for his friends and fellow street punks. Tragedy struck when Samuel was caught in the crossfire of a brutal gang war. Severely injured, his body broken and his vision shattered, Samuel faced a bleak future. However, fate intervened when a mysterious offered him a chance at survival and a new purpose. Undergoing life-saving cybernetic surgery, Samuel's body was transformed. His damaged eyes were replaced with cybernetic optics, granting him enhanced vision and the ability to emit focused energy beams, similar to the iconic mutant Cyclops. Samuel Winters, once a victim of the city's cruel underbelly, rose above his circumstances to become a beacon of resistance. With his cybernetic prowess, unwavering determination, and magnetic leadership, Cyberstrike fights to reclaim Haven City from the clutches of darkness, one optical blast at a time. I dont know if this character can fit in. With some tweaks I think he could make a great addition to this adventure. He works well as a City Rat or even better as a Bounty Hunter/ Techno warrior. your call

As for OCC/RCC question, it's part of the selection process with other info.  So, choice wisely.  I will say no magic and the more outlandish is something is something the Republicans dont want
Sounds good. Winters is a light borg. can i get a invite to the game so i can start working on him?
Plan to invite selected players all at once later on this week.
I was thinking about playing a full conversion cyborg with a few character quirks.  Most cyborgs are cold, distant, and brooding, but the character I'm thinking of is actually personable, friendly, and sociable.  And he loves to cook.  He just happens to be a living death machine as well.
Great / awesome idea.  Sadly my weekends are booked for now.  Have fun and slay lots!
I'd love to play -- I'd make: Malcom "ShadowFox" Maddox Psi-Ghost R.C.C. Born in the vibrant city of Lazlo in the post-apocalyptic world of Rifts Earth. His parents were freelance Psi-Ghosts for hire. His childhood was spent going from heist to heist, working in the shadows, collecting intelligence, and conducting covert operations. He learned to move silently, pick locks, and gather information without leaving a trace. His first solo mission as a Psi-Ghost was to infiltrate a powerful criminal syndicate that was trafficking in illegal technology and mystical artifacts. Using his psychic talents, he posed as a member of the organization, gaining their trust and extracting valuable information about their operations. With his abilities, he helped dismantle the criminal network and prevent dangerous technology from falling into the wrong hands.
I like it!  Brilliant concept for a character!
Doesn't tell me why the faction took him in or trust him.
His parents or an uncle (or other relative) could have been members of the faction, and he was brought into the fold after proving himself on his own.    His previous work may have involved rescuing a hostage, who was a member of the faction, who tagged him for recruitment based on gratitude, and his skills and abilities.
If I were to play, I've always liked the MacGuyver class (Operator).
