S080_Welcome_To_MurderWorld November 21, 2018 Wednesday Morning: When Revenant wakes he discovers that he isn't in his bed, instead he finds himself laying nude on the floor of a large red hewn chamber. He is in the middle of a large pentagram with torches forming the outer ring. Ten demons, five on each side, are watching him. A judges bench is before him with a large ram horned, bat winged demon presiding over the court. A large black rod topped with a human skull is in his hand. He uses the rod as a gavel. Between Revenant and the judge, just outside the pentagram, is a table where his power suit is carefully folded is neatly placed. The judge speaks telling Revenant that he is the Lord of Undead in Hell and Revenant has offended him by pretending to be a spirit of vengeance on the terrestrial world. He is here to answer for those crimes. Upon successfully defending himself he will be freed. However if he fails then his flesh will be rent from his bones and his soul will be stripped from him. He will then be remade as a demon in the service of his new master and returned to the world to resume the task he appointed for himself. Defend thy life, Mortal! Revenant lunges for his suit and quickly pulls it on as the hoard of demons close in on him. He flings his grenades at the demons but they are not effective. The judge comes out from behind his bench to join the frey. Revenant gets behind him and issues a severe electric shock. The shock caused the robot facsimile to short out and collapse in a heap. Revenant realizes this is fake and has identified the demon-bots weakness. He quickly turns the tide and is victorious! When the battle is won a concealed door opens allowing Revenant to step outside. The building he exits is a dilapidated warehouse on the Jersey side of the Hudson. A path leads down to the water where a motor launch is tied and waiting. A piece of paper is attached to the steering wheel of the launch. Network painfully regains consciousness finding that he has been stripped bare and tied to a wooden stake. He is at the center of a village surrounded by a community of puritans. He can see members of the village tending the fields, cooking, hanging out freshly done laundry, and tending to their daily chores. One of the men, who is only slightly better dressed than his fellows is approaching the stake and tinder with a lit torch. The man tells Network that he has been found guilty of the charge of witchcraft and is to be burned. Network denies being a witch. The puritan asks if he does not use magic to travel between worlds? Doth thou deny controlling machines with thine mind? Do you not steal secrets from those around you without their leave to purvey them? Thou art a witch and shall be burned! Seeing that this isn't going his way he confesses his crimes! Satan led me astray but I has seen the light and wish to rejoin the life of walking with the Lord. The puritan welcomes him back into the light but says the purifying flame is the only way remove the stain of the Corrupter's influence. You soul will sit on the right hand God. He then lowered the torch! Network, in a instant of panic, tries to teleport. He discovers that electricity is surging through nearly every inch of this pastoral primitive farmland. Finding electricity in abundance he realizes this is fake. He summons his power and teleports back to the super secret base! He appears in his room on the base level of the structure. The first thing he does is grab some clothes and get dressed. Afterwards he spots a half dozen man searching the base, looking for the trophy room, at the direction of a purple bat-like looking man.  Noise from upstairs attracts their attention. The purple bat orders the men to go upstairs and deal with the problem. The men respond with 'Sieg Heil' and head back to the elevator. The purple bat continues to rummage through the trophy room. Big Tuna wakes to find himself in a pool of very warm water. He is at a luxurious bath house bereft of clothing. The bath house serves both men and woman, the bathers are attended by naked children of both genders. The children are approximately 10 years in age and have been trained in the care of their guests. There are other bathers of both genders enjoying the services provided. With the exception of a single male attendant everyone present is nude. The serenity of the morning comes to an abrupt end as a half dozen intruders dressed as ninja's burst into the bathing area. They announce they are here to end the life of Okina Maguro but offer no reason. Okina (Big Tuna) tries to negotiate a release of the innocents present but the leader (or at lease spokesman) for the Ninjas refuse. The innocents are to be witnesses to his death. The Ninjas draw their swords! Big Tuna holds back on his defensive strikes. He grabs one ninja and slams him into another slowly increasing his force as his impacts seem ineffective. The ninja's attacks are bounce off Tuna harmlessly. Only their flash grenades slow Tuna in the slightest. Eventually Tuna hits a ninja hard enough to crack through his armor revealing the mechanical chassis underneath. Tuna understands this is a charade and starts using all his considerable power to dispatch his mechanical adversaries. When the last of the mechanical ninjas fall a door appears allowing Big Tuna to leave. Because of his considerable size he needs to lash several towels together to provide only modest covering before stepping out of the bathhouse and into the morning light outside. He finds himself outside a dilapidated warehouse on the Jersey side of the Hudson river. A path leads down to the water where a motor launch is tied and waiting. A piece of paper is attached to the steering wheel of the launch. Paladin does not recall falling asleep but awakes to find himself on stiff lumpy mat of padding with a coarse down comforter laying across his naked body. A man dressed as a medieval friar is standing beside the cot. Paladin is in a cottage warmed by a fireplace. There is a table covered with documents, scrolls, and loose papers in the center of the room, a writing table near the fireplace, and a chest in a corner. There is also a rack holding a suit of armor and a great sword at the foot of the bed, beside the rack is a peasant tunic, breeches, and crude sandals laying on the floor. The friar tells Paladin that the Black Paladin and his men have come to kill him. He (the Friar) has found information that will spell the doom for the Black Paladin and his lover the Black Enchantress as soon as he can get it to Merlin. It is imperative that Paladin save his life or at the very least see that the information gets to Merlin! The Black Paladin is outside. His men are preparing to use flaming arrows to bring down the cottage and anyone inside it! Dressing in the peasant clothes Paladin steps outside to parley with the Black Paladin. During their discussion Paladin learns that he Black Paladin believes he is the arch nemesis for Paladin. He claims this encounter is a gift to him from his beloved (The Black Enchantress) so he can gain vengeance for the defeat that Paladin and his allies dealt him when last they met. Paladin tells Black Paladin that he woke here with no memory of how he got here. He suspects the same can be said of BP. BP agrees that before waking here with the 10 knights at his command he had been in Rykers' island serving his sentence. The next question posed was did BP's girlfriend possess the power to send people across time. BP said that she did not but with research and delving into the secrets of the mind of god her power was constantly increasing! Paladin then asked what BP's goal was. BP said it was the same that it had ever been. Defeating Arthur and ruling Camelot. Paladin jibed him for his desire to rule a Kingdom that vanished centuries ago. Paladin tells the friar to gather his papers and be prepared to run should the situation worsen. Paladin claims to not remember Black Paladin or the fight he spoke of, it must not have been very important, driving Black Paladin into a rage. Black Paladin orders the flaming arrows loosed and charges into melee with Paladin. Paladin and Black Paladin exchange blows. Paladin notices that his punches are leaving dents in BP's body and causing electricity to arc from the wounds. He accuses BP of not being a 'real boy'. BP rages and yells “Of course I am a 'real boy'!” After a few more hits BP is confirmed to not be a 'real boy' but in fact a robot. Paladin dispatches him and the remaining evil knights that were working for him who are also robots. When the last of the robots fall a concealed door opens and Paladin is allowed to exit the countryside. He exits the building and finds himself outside a dilapidated warehouse on the Jersey side of the Hudson. A path leads down to the water where a motor launch is tied and waiting. A piece of paper is attached to the steering wheel of the launch. He will see Revenant standing there. Kismet wakes in a circular stone room with stairs leading downward. A open glassless window shows a full moon third of the way above the horizon, village in the distance, and a dark gnarled forest between the village and the castle. She was sleeping nude on luxurious black satin sheets on a magnificent four poster canopied bed. Nearby is a chest with proves to be empty and a dressing rack with a sheer black silk gown embroidered with bats. The gown has matching slippers. She will hear the baying of wolves in the distance and the clatter of dishes from down the stairs. Kismet examines the chest and finds it empty. She closed the chest and tried to will her mind link bauble to be inside. When she next opened the box … it was still empty. Uncertain as to what else to do she goes down the stairs. The tower stairs end in a great hall where a long table has been filled with food of every description. At the head of the table is a man wearing finery from yesteryear. He has a cape and his finery is reminiscent of a tuxedo. Three other women also sit at the table leaving the side opposite the man empty for Kismet. At the Master's invitation Kismet sits across from him. There is also a man dressed in a more common style who answers to the name Renfield. The Master has Renfield serve Kismet wine but she refuses food. The Master tells Kismet that she is going to be his next wife. The other woman are vampiresses in his thrall. While Renfield is not a vampire he keeps him alive because his services are valuable to him. After Kismet is turned Renfield will obey her in all things except where the Master orders otherwise. After he lays out his plan for their future together Kismet announces she has other plans. She teleports outside the castle and prepares to run to the village. Teleporting straight up in order to get the village in her sight she finds herself on the roof of a dilapidated warehouse across the Hudson from New York City. Confused she teleports to the super secret base. She appears near the motor-pool at the base. A group of men have trespassed on to the base property. They have used plastique explosives to enter the elevator shaft, and then again to blast open the roof of the elevator to gain access to the base level of the headquarters. Revenant, Paladin, and Big Tuna are reunited outside the dilapidated warehouse. Revenant uses his High-Range Radio hearing to access cell phone frequencies and call the trouble-line at the super secret base. He manages to reach Network. Network tells them that a bunch of Nazis have invaded the base. Paladin has Revenant relay that he is to stop them from getting whatever it is that they are looking for. The sounds coming from the warehouse level of the base continue to get louder as unknown to the rest of the group Kismet is using her telekinesis to run interference on the Nazis. Using a van as a protective she flattens (but does not kill) a group of the invaders. Then as the Nazis from the lower level are climbing back up she grabs their ropes, slams them into the roof of the elevator shaft, and let them fall back to the bottom of the shaft. She then grabbed a sedan and flattened five more intruders as they were shooting at her. Paladin, Revenant, and Tuna are using the motor launch to get back to Brooklyn as fast as possible. The white piece of paper that was attached to the steering wheel was a note that ready, 'Thank you for visiting Murderworld, another fine product of Arcade!' The purple bat finds what he was looking for, the part of the Hopewell device the team has been safe keeping. Network uses his telekinesis to grab the fragment but was unable to wrest if free from the villain. The villain closes on Network and rips his guts out with a swipe of a claw. As Network collapses near death the purple bat assumes the form of mist and escapes with the device. Kismet finds Network bleeding out but is able to save him with the use of her healing powers!  Paladin, Revenant, and Big Tuna are on their way back to the base from the Jersey shore where they escaped Murderworld. Preston and Cherry Darling who were at the base last night have not been accounted for … yet.
