Players with multiple characters on separate pages

Just wondering if anyone has had your players assigned to different characters, and all the characters are scattered amongst two or more pages. Do you, as the GM, have to manually move the players between the pages in order to allow them to move around and interact? Will the Player ribbon move them around to a specific page for viewing purposes if their character token isnt on the current page? Unsure if this was clear enough. Thanks for you time/any input you might have.

What page a player is on has nothing to do with where their tokens are. Characters can have multiple tokens spread across any or all of the pages in a campaign. The only way for players to move between pages is for the GM to move them, either via the player ribbon or by dragging that player specifically to split the party.

I can answer the second part -- the player needs control of a token on the page, with vision turned on, in order to see the page. When I want the players to see a page without being on it, like watching through a crystal ball, I put a transparent token I call "allsight" on the page; allsight is controlled by all players and has vision enabled. You still need to get the player to the page. With the new interface, when you open the pages tab there is a dropdown at the very top that lists all the players, and you can select and drag to get the players on the map you want. There is also a [Regroup all] button that will bring them all back to the player ribbon. I'm not sure if that answers all of your questions.

You could use a teleport script to move players from one map to another without your being involved.

I can’t drag and drop anything. Most of the time the character sheets are not opening. Getting a small part of my list of things on my spells and things. Now it’s just unresponsive in general. I have a scheduled game on Saturday and a lot to do before then. I might have to cancel 😔
