Hello all, we are looking for a DM, The current module
campaign we're going to be running is Tyranny of Dragons (Hoard of the
Dragon Queen + Rise of Tiamat). Any DM applying does not have to have
run the module before, but prior experience can be helpful and would not
at all bar entry. A new module/story will be followed up after
the current one ends, players are welcome to stay on or drop when that
happens, and the group/table is a continual and "living" type of setup,
where both DMs and players will be replaced in order to finish each
story should anything come up preventing them participating. We are close-knit and have a low tolerance for bullshit, please keep this in mind. Our
group has finished Lost Mine of Phandelver and a partial completion of
Out of the Abyss and will be moving on to (likely) Storm King's Thunder
after the current story ends. Overall tentative plans are to
finish the remaining 5-6 major stories over time, replacing players or
game runners as needed, then moving on to side/minor stories and other
styles of play after that. If interested please send a direct message. A few particulars: . Current group comp is a Bladesinger Wizard, Swarmkeeper Ranger, Swords Bard, Thief Rogue, and Eldritch Knight Fighter .
Group size will not go above Six (Aiming to maintain Five), and we go
weekly so long as we have a minimum of Three, progression is milestone
based . We have a mix of vet players and new players, some of which have done the modules before and some who haven't .
Optional rules for the current edition are active, and optional/custom
origin options are available/active if desired, stats are custom +
rolled, approved by our DM . Characters start with 1 free feat for this campaign, and just have to meet the pre-reqs, if any . General player age range for the group is between 20-45 .
We're currently using a mix of D&D Beyond with the Roll20 Beyond20
browser addon and can use Foundry, and Talespire. Please have accounts
set up for at least Roll20 and D&D Beyond. . We have a
prior DM who is currently on hiatus due to life considerations, and
two/three players they may pop in from time to time to fill the party
ranks out and bow out after, so please be aware. .
Specifically for prospective DMs: Our prior game runner was using a
variety of custom rules and we are carrying those over into this game,
before things start up there'll be discussion about these rules as well
as some custom classes being used, so if wanting to run a completely
100% 'pure' game, this isn't the situation for that please do be aware. . We are also not running things as Players vs. DM and would like to avoid this at basically every chance possible. Requirements: .
Time Slot – The group time is already set-- it's Thursday EST at 5 pm
to 9-10 pm (At 9:00 players will be asked if they can or would like to
continue or not, sometimes we do, sometimes we don't for an extra hour) .
Attendance – Please be on time or a short bit early (5-10 minutes) to
log in and set up and have the day/time slot clear to actually be
present and lucid (meaning not drunk, high, or falling asleep) for the
full length of game time . Attitude – Please actually be
decent/respectful/considerate/courteous to other players as this is
mutually expected of everyone, be LGBTQ etc. friendly, and most of all Don't Be A Dick
