Charactermancer when leveling above level 1 won’t load the new features on the first tab. I have to click the second tab and return to the first to actually see what the new level has to offer. This work around is fine for me but to remind my players in every game, for every level is tedious and feels unnecessary ($10 a month is being justified less and less the more inconveniences I discover) I’m using fire fox with auto fill extension disabled and I’m not sure what my many players use that have the same issue. Perhaps an easy fix would be to make the level up input its own tab so when you click the next tab it displays the new features and they load properly? The charactermancer was/is a huge selling point for roll20 and switching to VTT in general. I have seasoned players finding out they didn’t have “always prepared” subclass spells available and I highly suspect it’s because of this issue. Many new and veteran players are using dndbeyond for its ease of access and clarity. I personally have invested too much in Roll20 to switch but if quality of life and basic program functions continue to be a problem I would cut ties to make my players and my own life easier. I love roll20 and would love to see it not only hold its own against larger competitors but to thrive.
