Hi FiveBlinkLegion,
So that I can try to replicate this, could you screenshot the 3d Dice settings?
Which browser are you using?
Are you using new or old UI?

I'm using the new UI
Browser: Firefox

Are you rolling the dice, or is someone else rolling it and you see the dice roll?
I'm rolling the dice.
I open the Dice Roller and click an option, which normally lets me "manually" roll by clicking and dragging, but it just automatically rolls.
I tested in Firefox and it is working correctly for me (asking to roll).
Could you switch to a Private window (Ctrl+Shift+P) and try again?

I tried it.
Same result. It automatically rolls.

I would try clearing cache and cookies.
Alternately try Chrome and see if it happens in Chrome.
I tried cache and cookies. Didn't work.
I don't use Chrome. I have Firefox and I have Edge. Roll20 doesn't work properly on Edge - something I learned after painstakingly setting up a map only to learn that what I'm seeing on my screen isn't what my players saw on theirs. Don't know if it's been fixed since then, but I'd like to stay on Firefox with Roll20 if possible.
Just to clarify, when someone on a bug thread asks you to try a different browser, the intent is not to get you to switch. It's a diagnostic test to try to pinpoint the source of a problem. That being said, if you don't want to install the browser, even for a test, that's understandable.
If you have access to a different machine, that's another way to test where a problem might be localized.
Also, I am getting the same results as Gauss. Firefox asks me to click to roll the 3d dice after a die roller click.
Would you happen to be using some kind of popup blocker or antivirus that might be blocking it?
Does the console (F12) show any errors?
What happens when you turn off 3D dice, perform a hard refresh, then turn it back on?
I am having this same problem. I have done everything you mentioned @Gauss and none of it worked. Going into private window doesn't work, I have cleared cookies and cache, I have tried 4 different browsers, console doesn't show any errors, turning off 3D dice, hard refresh and turning it back on didn't fix it either. I also disabled my ad-blockers but to no avail. (I mainly use firefox aswell, and I tried it on chrome, brave and edge)
Hi kevin p.,
At this point my suggestion is to contact the Devs via the Help Center as the bug report forum is primarily for users helping users and I've run out of ideas.
I tried Chrome at work and also tried using a private window and the result was the same - very strange!
I brought up the console (F12) like you asked - I didn't even know what that was until now - I do see some errors but I can't see details or I would have copied them here. I can maybe check if the errors are still there and take a screenshot if it helps.
Thank you Gauss and keithcurtis for trying to help!
