LFG: St. John's, Newfoundland - In-Person Game (Eventually)

Greetings and salutations! My family and I currently live in BC but will be moving out to NL, later this year.  We are big gamers and looking to connect with the community out there. I am planning on starting a modified 3.5 game in a homebrew world, for 4-6 players, age 18+.  The initial character development and world introduction would be mostly online, however, gameplay would be in-person, once we've moved.  (Current plans are to be there in July but that might be a slightly moving target.) The world is very fleshed-out (as I have been running games in this setting for more than 20 years) but there is still lots of room for player creativity.  It's high-fantasy and high-magic, with a couple of options for slightly more technical things,  ex: flintlock pistols and rifles available in a couple of areas.  Playable races are all standard, plus anything creative that you might like, at DM's discretion. I generally run a more RP-focused style of game, but I try to make sure there's always a fun level of combat encounters.  Players can expect adventure, political intrigue, possible romance (keeping it reasonably PG), and a goodly amount of danger.  There is also the potential for more mature themes as well (genocide, torture, psychological manipulation, etc.) but I try to keep them within player tolerances. If this sounds like something you might be interested in, or have some questions about what else you might expect from me as a DM, please feel free to comment below, or message me privately. Thanks and have a lovely day.  :)
I enjoy 3.5, would be interested depending on the time and frequency.
Hello Brian! I like to work with my players to figure out what sort of timing works best for the group. Likely we won't be able to figure that out until I have a few more interested parties. Have you played a lot of 3.5?  Is there a particular type of character you like to play?
