Grey bar at the top of every page

I'm getting this ugly grey bar at the top of every page since the last site update. Refreshing/restarting my browser doesn't seem to fix the problem, nor does starting a new (blank) page. Thankfully the grey area hasn't knocked anything on the maps out of alignment, but it's still a bit of an eyesore. Using: Chrome/Win 7
That is the "gutter" added as a feature in the last update to allow that toolbars &c at the top and left of the page need not cover up and make inaccessible tokens and parts of the map. Just scroll until it disappears out of the top and left edges of your window.
Are you taking issue with the fact that there's empty space, or the fact that the empty space is grey? I'm open for suggestions on how to make it look more appealing :-)
Wow. I feel like a jerk now for reporting a legit site update as a bug. My mistake. Honestly, the empty space bothers me more than the color. I understand the need for it, I suppose, but I do wish there was an option to turn it off if the GM wanted, or just make it a bit smaller.
Wow. I feel like a jerk now for reporting a legit site update as a bug. My mistake. No need to feel like a jerk! You're just trying to help. We'll try and see if there's a better balance between people needing the gutter to prevent off-screen radial menus and other issues and not making Roll20 look ugly :-)
On both your screenshots your browser is scrolled to the top...Could you not just scroll the page down?
We'll try and see if there's a better balance between people needing the gutter to prevent off-screen radial menus and other issues and not making Roll20 look ugly :-) You could try putting the video windows in there. That would have the additional advantage of putting the video windows near to most webcams. That would mean that when we watched our fellow players in the video we would be looking near to the camera, which would mean we looked more as though we were looking at the people we were speaking to.

Might even be more like looking "accross" the "table" as well...Plus looking at people when you try and communicate is always a good idea.
I think a setting to define the gutter size in pixels would be a better alternative because it is rather big.

Of course I may be missing something, but actually, I wonder what is the intended purpose of the empty space beyond the Roll20's page canvas. I can't place anything there, nor even Cards. If that is the actual tabletop (different of the "canvas for background images and maps"), I think that it would be possible to place things on it, like any kind of virtual game assets. Regardless of its purpose, my suggestion for this empty, grey space is an option for picking custom colors.
