Card Option/Function Issue: Removing Cards

To be brief,

  • Working on an indie card game
  • Using the Deck Feature
  • The "remove" function behaves differently between the GM and player
    • If it's the GM, the "remove" function moves card into the Remove pile
    • If it's the player, the "remove" function doesn't move the card to the removed pile. It effectively disappears from the game
  •   I can get the card back after recalling cards but that resets the game altogether

Any idea why the cards don't get moved into the removed pile when the player uses the "remove" function?

Hi Morgan J.,

Please edit your deck and screenshot the settings so that I may try to replicate the problem.

Hopefully this should be sufficicent

Afraid that is just using the deck, not editing it.

To edit the deck please click on the Collection tab (as shown in your screenshot) then click the deck entry in the collection tab.

Morgan, your screenshot is not showing the settings above "When played to the tabletop". Could you screenshot those options please?

-Sidenote: Apologies for the slow replies, I'm replying back in-between workdays, Appreciate you sticking in there to look into my issue.

At least as of now, I have played with the settings a bit to see if certain alterations effect player's interaction when removing cards. It doesn't seem to make a difference as of yet. What I'm now looking into is whether or not the issue persists when I enter the game as a player. I want to see if it's a "tittle" issue. If that does deem the case, I will have a second issue: Do I trust player's with GM permissions. I don't want to give players GM permissions just so they can remove a card. If they're someone working on the project with me. I'd feel more comfortable. My goal is to make things easier for testers to play so they don't have to understand complex functions of Roll20 just to play.

Any who, hope this helps give more context about what I'm asking and diagnose the issue.
