Trouble with Tokens/Sheets in Marvel Multiverse

Hi all. I tried to run Marvel Multiverse RPG for my group last night. Previously, I've only used Roll20 for D&D, where we used DnDBeyond/Beyond20, so my group and I have never used the character or NPC character sheet functions. So, last night, we tried to run our first game of the Marvel Multiverse using only Roll20. But we had a fit getting players set up with characters. The game comes with tons of Marvel characters and token, but when you click on the token and try to assign them to a player, the button is greyed out and says it's set in the "character settings" and there's no way to alter that (that I know). Meanwhile, the players could create "new" characters and then click "play as an established Marvel hero" and could then access the character sheets, but when picking tokens, were offered only a limited number (despite my having bought everything ), not the full range I could see (despite a huge list of "PC - [Heroes name]" tokens available to me. When I dragged/dropped the tokens I have access to onto the map, if they selected them, it then overrode their ability to move them or open them and see the sheet and went back to telling me assigning a controller was set in character settings. Help! Anyone know what I'm doing wrong or if there is an easier way to do this? It took us most of two hours to get set up, with one player kindly playing as a character he didn't want because that's all we could get to work with a token from a too-limited list, so we just ran a quick test battle and called it a night. My group are patience but I feel terrible I put them through this.

Hi Lou! There are a couple of things going on here. To assign a token and character to a player: Open the sheet (either through the journal tab or shift double-clicking on the token). Click Edit Assign control through the drop down They should then be able to control any token assigned to that character. As for accessing the jillion tokens included with your purchase, you can find them in your art library. Drag them onto the VTT, assign them to the character you've created, and then save that as the default token for that character. The screen shot above shows the art handouts, but if you scroll down, you will see the tokens. If you need help with token setup, there are articles in the Help Center, or you can post back here.
