Since I grew tired of applying at different groups and retyping my info over and over, I'm going to go back to this guy to refer to! Howdy I'm Ryan or TheRTist on Discord. I've seen some D20 and played some BG3 and wanted to get into some DnD. I would prefer to join into a group at levels 1-3 rather than something deep into the thick of it. I don't understand character building too much yet so asking me to make choices leading up to a character at 5th level is impossible. I'd be available from 6-11:30 pm CST on weekdays or any time on the weekends.   Character Stuff: Xotor Rommelberg - Rock Gnome - Artificer (98% Certain Battle Smith) - True Neutral Backstory stuff:   Grew up in a family of tinkers, had his brother and father die to a "Bear" and has claw scars on his chest. He now values those around him more than material things. He struggles at times with getting a read on people, as sometimes he's dead on and others he's way off. To remedy this he joined a crafts guild to get more people time outside of a mostly solo workshop. He likes understanding how things work. He is setting off on this adventure (only after approval from his mother and the guild) to explore other options from being a tinker. He grew up with that but he doesn't know if that's what he likes because he truly enjoys it, or that's just what's comfortable to him. Other Info: Topicwise I'm comfortable with whatever. I guess I only get squeamish around EXTREME body horror. Other than that I'm pretty laid back.  In terms of mechanics, I think it'd be cool if Xotor's scars caused issues with "cold checks" whether it be a saving throw against cold dmg or maybe a constitution save against cold weather. I'm not sure but it's a flavorful idea I had.  I'm willing to change certain details but I'd really like to play a battle smith even if in terms of "lore" we just reskinned mechanical things to be magic/ runic type of stuff.  I've heard that Artificers can be hard to work around and this is my first character, but I will work with you if need be.
